for me when I still used to torrent I tended to forget to stop my downloads and my internet was more than fast enough (upload and download speeds were great) that I didn't notice whether I was seeding or not.

they're nice people
i always hit & run unless it's a rare file

If nobody would be seeding there would be no torrents. Don't be an ass and seed at least 50% if you downloaded something.
You like to download your torrent at a decent speed don't you? So do others

but people buy paid service like torrent seed box
why they paymoney for same?

Question to OP.
If no one seeds how you will be able to download? Just asking for a friend..

10/10 question OP !

having a somewhat slow internet connection, i kind off feel for you OP and understand why you asked in the first place. some are dedicated seedboxes, others are just good samaritans with fast internet?

Others are incentivized (kind of) by the torrent site - if your down to up ratio increases to a certain level you get restrictions and sometimes ban on some of the torrent sites. And if the opposite is true you get some benefits - become a superuser.

if you are talking about private trackers, then seeding is a must to keep the ratio 1:1 so that you don't get banned ,also it is used to gain bonus points in private trackers which you can use to buy "download GBs",etc.

If you are talking about public trackers, then i would assume that the person who seeds got unlimited or large upload bandwidth that they can spare and to give back to the community where they originally downloaded the data from...

Had to check out this thread to know the answer. LOL. Now I know, there are still good guys who help other benefit from the torrent. :D
