It's not easy but definitely doable. Been doing IM for the past year and a half (part time). During my first few months, I was making 300ish per month promoting ClickBank products. With that, I imagined all I have to do was build 10-20 more of such sites and I'd be making passive $3k-6k per month. Then the Google updates caught on; all my sites got penalized. I learned that you can only game Google for so long, they will always eventually catch up. So if you're planning to do SEO, it's better to do churn and burn websites.
Weeks passed by. I kept on searching for methods that would work (there are tons of that here btw)and noticed a lot of affiliates were ranking and banking well on Youtube promoting CB products. Gave it a shot and it was indeed easier than ranking websites. Problem though, is that your competitors can easily flag your videos. With that, I moved to the next venture.
Then just last March, I started doing Facebook Ads. I tested a lot of stuff. Lost $200ish on my first week before I figured things out. I made $150 in a day. Scaled it up 10x, scaled it up 20x. I was killing it; I was making 1.5-3k per day. I thought to my self that I'd be lucky if this last for another week because I was on a highly saturated niche that would be over anytime soon. Luckily, the FB gig lasted for a month and a half which allowed me to bank upper $$,$$$. Now I'm sticking to FB ads and paid traffic (though I do a bit of PPI too lol). Why? because when something works, all you need is $$$ to scale things up.
Bottom line: Never give up. Continue learning and absorbing as much information as you can and most importantly, TAKE ACTION.
Additional Tip: Best way to learn is to stalk people who make sense here i.e. wasted, meathead, BassTrackerBoats etc. View their profiles and click "Find latest started threads". Goldmine of information.
