Why do people on BHW avoid the word G0-ogle?

I see a lot of people not using the name of the biggest search engine but using things like:
Big G
G00gl3
go-ogl
etc..

Why is this? Can they track down if someone uses their name and maybe punish you for hanging around at bl@€kh@t sites or something? The same thing with the word bl@€kh@t.

Can someone explain this to me?

Usually when google is posted on a webpage like BHW, the big G is able to track down the website, the time of the post, and the user. With this information they most likely contact the site owner and send him or her an email which basically harrasses him or her by threatening to lower their SERPS. They sometimes go after the OP, but that's not very common on forums because, generally speaking, the poster doesn't have a website.

And that's why you shouldn't use google in any of your posts!

Eternity in the company of Beelzebub and all his hellish instruments is a picnic compared to google sandboxing/banning you! :D

You are 100% correct.. If we use GOOGLE in our post.. Sorry i meant GOOGLE and not google.. they ll track (they means GOOGLE) using a satellite (perhaps a GOOGLE satellite) and they ll demand some $$$$.. because we have used their name (i mean GOOGLE)..

Now can you understand, why we dont use the world GOOGLE..

Google has a real offline brick and mortor sand box for prople like you.
 
It's a bit like the jews and muslims, can't call their 'God' God, it's got to be 'GD' :)
