Why do people hire ebay sellers?

I've seen a lot of ads online looking for ebay sellers, and they all say you can make a lot of money... but I always assume it's a scam, because why would you need to hire ebay sellers, and why would you trust other people to handle all your money from your sales?

Please could someone give me an insight onto this :/

Umm.. because they are wholesalers? Its a bit like asking people "Why do farmers sell their crops at walmart when they could just sell it by the side of the road".

Anyway, I've been recruiting eBay sellers for that reason. Also, new eBay accounts are limited in terms of reputation and selling limits which is a big pain in the ass for people like me. Furthermore, some eBay sellers may not want to go through the process of shipping, etc.. so they also look for suppliers who can provide products and ship directly to the customer.
 
As GiorgioB said, they are wholesalers/drop shippers, or maybe they are just trying to outsource. I would rather have 100 people everyday post 1 product each for me, than to post 100 products on my own..... It's all about business.
 
They are hire for out souce shipping and supply to customer, do this from another country.
 
Well, if anyone's interested in hiring me I'm all for it. I'm in los angeles, and have a 100% feedback ebay account with 165 stars... i would have to feel safe about the details, though.

Exactly, the auction game is a number game for real. Ebays rules , constant changes, scammers and haters have deterred many legitimate sellers from posting. So, to combat that, those guys turn into drop shippers. It is a hell of a time saver.
 
Well, it depends.

I have several people from the UK hiring me to ship their products because they're dealing with the ADULT niche which is not allowed in their country for some reason. So what they do is create a US account and whenever they make a sale, I ship it from my address as a dropshipper.
 
Its probably because of wholesale or dropshipping. Or just like me ebay account has low limits so in need of ebay accounts
 
They do it for wholesale. There are scammers who will have you list a fake product and then run with the cash so make sure they are trustworthy
 
Yup I'm interested too, I have a good old account in good standing. Send me some details and some proof of trustworthinest and I'll do what I can.
 
Beware of people who advertise this,

Often they will build up your trust and start to sell higher priced things, then one day they will not deliver yo a high ticket item and you will have to make it up or lose your account.

In my case it was a x-ray film processing machine. I sold 6 of them for hm t $500 to $800, then he simply ran an ad for as deluxe model he did not have, skipped with the money, left me hanging with a pissed customer and owing $1200. (this was some years ago)

Not saying everyone will do this, but many will, so watch your ass.
