Why do people buy ebooks ?

I have read a lot of ebooks and found that 99.9% are a bunch of horse sh#t with no value at all,yet people jump off their chairs and fall for these "Make $1000's/day" and dish out the fee only to be disappointed.

The way i see it is,the only people making money are the ones selling these hyped-up books.Noobs could even find much moreinfo from the big G.

Please tell me what im missing here.

Absolutely nothing...

Once in a while you come across an ebook with a bit of gold in it...but I have to admit it is pretty rare.

Exactly,if a method was making the person $1000's/day,why do they try to seel there method for a measly few dollars and saturate their own business.

It just doesn't add up.
 
yeah that what i figured out , only the seller are making money ...
if the guy is rich do you thing he will be selling this crap , if you are rich you don't give a damn anymore ...
 
The goo-roos are selling hope and the sheeple are buying it by the bucket load.
 
@SquirlyNutz : Only newbies buys ebooks hoping that after purchasing that ebook they are going to make money and start calculating. If i work this much i m going to make $$$$. They think like making money online is very very easy.

I used to think like this before. My journey started with Clickbank after purchasing a few ebooks i realised that it doesn't help. Later i found DP and saw few threads and started buy methods from there. And You won't believe "It was not working at all" . I made around $4.5 through adsense in 1.5 years.

One day i was searching something on google and i got a website link of BHW, BHW was member only forum at that time. So to view that thread i have to register. I did. And i m still member of this forum from Last 10 months.

Don't think like i still don't make money. I m making 4 figures through Email marketing.

Same thing goes for a lot of sites that promise you certain amounts and than charge you for setup fees just to tell you the secret method is selling what they just tricked you to buy.
 
People buy ebooks because they are desperate for advice. 99.999999% of them suck. And the 0.00000001% that's good you can download for free in almost 100% of the cases.

Simply put. People are stupid.
 
They're desperate for advice.
I actually read ebooks, but only ones distributed on BHW.
I don't actually buy the books since as op said, most are bull.

And lazy. They want to know how to make $xxx,xxx in x days.
 
People buy them to get information quickly that hopefully solves their problem.

It's a question and answers game, someone has a problem and they go to an authority to fix it for them.

And guess what ebooks sell really well.

I actually just finished my 3rd eBook yesterday.
