Why do PBN's work so well? Post your top points

Hello,

I've researched a lot about PBN's but I was never able to find a simple bullet point list that explains why they rank so well when compared to getting decent non-pbn links through other means.

If you are well versed on PBN's please post your top reasons on why PBN's rank so well below. This would be a very helpful resource for newbies like me. Please try to keep it as simple as possible.

You get the most natural link from very strong site.
 
If PBN is built very well, It defiantly tells Googles it's a Real Site. And you get most of the Link Juice. Or you control your link Juice.:)

Yes, but what specific factor makes the link juice so strong? Is it just the fact that the site does not have too many outbound links, in comparison to a normal site?

Would a PBN with a low Domain rating , lets say ahrefs 20 score, beat a normal website that has a DR of 40?

And how big of a difference does it make when you have 1 pbn pointing 1 link to your money site, vs lets say 20 links on the same pbn? Wouldn't google see that 20 links as spam?
I'm used to white hat where you get one link per domain, which is what also is causing confusion.

No, outbound links of a site has nothing to do with anything. A site with low outbound links is actually bad and looks like a spam site. A homepage should have low obl, not a site.

In whitehat you don't get one link per domain. A site will have many many outbound links otherwise it's just a spamblog setup to link to 1 site.

pbns are powerful because it's a homepage link. Nothing more. Nothing less.

If you get a contextual homepage link on any decent site it's going to be strong. A guest post is just a brand new post, with zero link juice and won't even have any other internal links from other parts of the site, which makes it almost useless unless you have many of them, and those guest posts also get internal links from other parts of the site.

And whitehat doesn't really exist.

Whitehat is just "build a site with good content and let people link to you". Any form of link building is blackhat.

From your headline, looks you already know they are working well, why you need validation than?

Maybe the right discussion would be DO PBN Links work? than you would get what your looking for with the cons as well.

Couldn't disagree more with that attitude. It is good to narrow down (and scrutinize) the key ingredients that make the commonly used methods work. A good way to learn and improve your skills.

it is not wise to put money into something that one does not understand fully.

because with something like PBN, one should assume all PBN's are made equal, and any advice can act as a rule of thumb. do you even know what a PBN is?

Like a counter argument for hes headline in the first place should be: Do all PBN's work so well?

And its not wise to think that learning only the pros and not the cons, will make you understand FULLY. fully means from all directions, not just the pros.

The main difference between an authority site and a pbn, is that you control a pbn and you control how to make it work to rank your site.

A link in an authority site is bound to that site's rules.

That has nothing to do with anything either.

pbns should not be used to spam exact anchors unless you want to see big drops and dances in your rankings.

And pbns aren't necessarily that powerful.

It's simply that it's a homepage link. Most juice goes to the homepage, and you're getting a link from the homepage. That's it. Nothing else.

That depends a lot on the link building strategy. Sometimes it's close to impossible to get a good contextual do_follow backlink with an exact anchor from a reputable site.
 
Homepage link boost you can read this point in almost all bst, there a reason they offer stick posts, and others sell monthly home page ones. But note not all pbns work, it depends on sellers expertise, content used, niche relevancy, anchors used etc.
 
Lots of link juice because of links being from homepage, i think...
 
PBNs will work as long as backlinks are a ranking factor and you get link juice
 
PBN'S (if done correctly) will look like like from a real independent website. It will have more credit than any link that can be made by site owners like profile,comment, or an 2.0 backlinks.
