I know staying hydrated is important, but somehow I go hours without drinking a single glass. By the time I remember, I’m already feeling drained and dehydrated. Does anyone else struggle to keep up with drinking enough water throughout the day? :)

Once you know the problem , it's 50% solved. Now you know you need to be hydrated, so you can see if you are starting a work that will last for hours, you can have a water bottle with you , so you will stay hydrated, as psychology is that out of sight out of mind, so keep in front of you so you will be hydrated, :)

Drink when you're thirsty. You won't forget :)
Also the recommandations from health authorities are BS. They tell this so we absorb more fluor.
And too much water dilutes electrolytes in the body.
So it's not a big deal if you forget to drink.
If you eat food that contains water, that's why you are not thirsty.
Anyway in any cases choose clean water, not tap water.

Exactly! Keeping water in sight really works, Once it’s right there, you’re way more likely to sip throughout the day. It’s a simple trick, but surprisingly effective :)

That’s a fair point. Listening to your body works for most people, and getting water from food definitely helps too. Totally agree on choosing clean water. No need to risk anything unnecessary.

Haha, classic! That’s basically the “procrastinating hydration” strategy in action :D Just don’t wait too long or you’ll regret it later.

I struggle with this too so I made an app that locks my computer until I drink water :)

The same thing happens to me, but there are a lot of apps that keeps u on track to drink ur water

That’s actually genius :D extreme, but genius. I’d probably end up drinking water just to get my computer back. Honestly, whatever works, works.
im like you man. I always drink Sodas.
thats why I am a big fat ass :D
Haha, you’re not alone :D sodas are way too easy to grab. The struggle is real. At least you’re self-aware, that’s usually step one before switching even a few of them to water.

Yeah, that’s true. Those reminder apps actually help, especially when you’re stuck working for hours and just forget. Sometimes a simple nudge is all it takes to stay on track. :)
use tracker and notifications it happens specially in winter
Yeah, especially in winter. You don’t feel as thirsty, so it’s easy to forget. Trackers and notifications help a lot when your body isn’t giving you clear signals.
reminder every hour
Hourly reminders are a solid move. Simple, but effective, especially when you’re deep into work and lose track of time.

If you're thirsty then your body is already dehydrated. The clue is in the chemical name, h2o!

Its the most important thing to put in your body other than oxygen

stay hydrated folks. Just had a glass of cold water.
Nice, that first sip always hits different :D cheers to staying hydrated. :)

True, water really is the basics of basics. Easy to forget, but the body definitely reminds us sooner or later. Staying ahead of it is always better. :)

You should take breaks in between work for multiple reasons. Take a break every 20 minutes to look away from screen, walk a few steps and drink a little water. It helps you in the long run.

faced jaundice 2 times then realized the importance of water, diet and sleep but tbh still its messy to maintain these

i recommend buying one of those big bottles that points how much liters of water u should drink in a day
