Why do 99% fail

I think it all boils down to how much hard work you put into it. Successful Internet marketers didn't succeed by watching TV all day. They spend countless hours researching, testing, etc and they fail too. The only difference is, they learn from their mistakes and never give up. A lot of people get so excited to try IM but if things go south in a few weeks, they tell themselves they're never going to earn a decent income online. If you want to succeed, work hard and don't give up.

If someone with high rep and high post count said that, he would be respected and thanked a lot. OP is right but he has expressed the truth in an ugly way.

I agree with you. The problem here is no one will tell you the "why". Very frustrating. With such a high failure rate you would think that people would be sharing stuff left and right. Because everyone is going to fail or not take action right? But have someone like me who wants to learn and pick apart a method from someone who's actually achieving something and it's always "Sorry bro, can't share my niche, or you have to twist it and think outside the box." Fucking pointless. That's why I'm here trying to learn from you. Because I can't do that.

If people don't see ROI it is very discouraging. The mentality is you have to lose money to find out what works. Most people can't do that, and the people that do have the money don't know how to use it starting out. IM is just a hobby for me because I've never been able to make it a full time job. Hell I'd be happy making 3 digits a month, but I won't work slave labor wages to make it happen. I might as well just go to GPT sites and fill out surveys all day if that's the case.

Those people are out there. Like me for example. I've been at BHW for 10 years (different names off and on) never made a fuckin penny profit on anything. Yet I'm still here trying to make it happen. Maybe one day I'll put the pieces together or find someone that will help me along the way. Until then it's pirating WSO's and trying to duplicate others success here on BHW.

This is the best adage I ever saw!

Despite all the BS comments from those who think 100/mth is good money---couple of points i can add.

1. "I think" OP was saying that 100/mth was the TOTAL income many are happy. If this was the case----man, i would be happier than a pig in shit (i could essentially retire---along with most people i know).

2. If find a way to make 100/mth, there might possibly be a way to scale up and get to 10,000/mth.

Lets assume that suddenly 100% succeeded. Immediate consequence - everyone will value their money less, i.e. will be ready to spend more on the things they love.

Quite fast we will face the largest worldwide inflation in the history, and uhm... 100% will fail.

So may be its how the world works - 99% have to fail for 1% to feel successful. Otherwise its just one big failure for everyone.

Everyone that thinks he/she's not successful enough should go to youtube and type in "brian tracy".

No he won't. He'll tell you how to feel better about your self, but he offers no actual actionable steps. I used to be all into people like him and Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Grant Cardone etc. but they're just cheerleaders for a game they've already won.

Dude, you have no idea what you're talking about seriously. I bet a lot of people who find massive success get lost in it, and slowly forget about this place. People making it in IM have very little need to waste time on forums and leech information off people who make less than them. Just because people disappear from BHW and never update a thread doesn't mean they failed.

Where did you get these statistics from? I'm not sure if it's true that 99% fail. But if it is, it's probably because of the greatly large amount of competition.

Anyone can set up a website nowadays. It's very difficult to compete.

I saw it on a stupid website a few days ago and yes I thought most of the Journey threads are legit and telling the truth. AND NO I don't want to sell you a fucking ebook that is going to make your rich because honestly I'm starting to believe that the only people who are making BIG money here are guys who rip of noobs by giving them some SEO shit so they can earn their 12$ a Year with affiliate links to amazon.

AND YES I know some of you guys are making big money but wtf I just asked for some tips on how not to fail because I don't want to end up working 8 hours a day if I would earn triple on McDonalds or selling dope.

Assume everything is false, until you test the method for yourself. If you only did it one time, try it again and change what you did previously. Record the results and see what is being improved upon and further refine the method.

This is the majority of the behavior for people who regurgitate information for the sake of making a ebook sale on the latest google update. Through experience you can identify who is telling the true and who is lying. There are good guides that give basic structure on where to start but since there are so many that provide vague outdated information, it is better to learn how to do this own your own by taking action.

Reading your previous posts, it sounds you are having a bit of trouble in your personal life. The best thing to do for yourself right now, is to get one of those crappy jobs. DO anything you can to stabilize your life first, then look at the internet marketing world with an emotionless cold logical eye. Test, record results. Do it again as many times as necessary until you get it right.
