Why do 99% fail

1% of people make money online - is that the point ? I think its higher than that honestly - My GUESS would be more 60% make money 40% give up and fail.

you can always just use Craigslist and outsource if your completely lost - which is why I refuse to believe that its 1% success rate.

Look at where being popular online got Justin Bieber and Austin Mahone in their early singing days, and all the Youtube celebrities. It's brought them an abundant amount of fame and money.

Given the choice of having my own life or Justin Biebers, I think I would happily choose my own, being famous is something very unappealing to me. Having his girlfriend or mine on the other hand is a complete different story.

Get a real job? Get a REAL Job? Is internet marketing not a REAL job? It's fake huh? Peace out, time to go get a REAL job because this is all fake.

If you think sitting on the BHW forum stealing whatever members put up for download and finding ways to scam people with useless websites is a real job then you have a serious problem.

I had no idea that is what IM was all about, there was me thinking I direct people to where they are going in the first place for a cut of money.

No I am not. I just wanted a thread about what mistakes people make and how to fix them.
theres already a sticky thread about this same topic except its 95% of people, and much more useful

i dont see anything motivation in this thread though.

if you want to motivate others, show something you got mate, not just put the stats up and thats IT.

Ok agreed you need to do something unique to make $100k, i think guys who make real money on internet are those who sell hope:) , anyway i dont agree with 99% to 1%, it cannot be true it should be 80% to 20% (80 fail) its famous rule widely accepted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_principle)

@OP "Get a real job" is like a racial slur to a internet marketer, watch out when you use it. As for the rest of your post, I am going to assume english is not your native language. I am going to answer your questions. Not just for your benefit, but for anyone starting out that lands on this thread.

"Why do 99% fail here?"
The percentages of financial winners originating from this forum can not be calculated. We can not peak into their pockets and slap a percentage on it. The 99% is way off figure to even start a speculative conversation about it, you will just make people mad in the process. Maybe you should state this over at the warrior forum, where this statement becomes more accurate.

"100 $ a month is nothing some of you guys are investing 100 hrs a week into their businsess"
I can understand this statement, if you are just reading the journey threads. It will always take a good amount of free time to start generating revenue without having one to begin with. Once that individual gets up to a certain threshold, they have the capabilities to invest into other things to increase their bottom line. Maybe hire people to build sites, create links, purchase media buys/ppc ads to expand their experience and dabble into other forms of internet marketing.

"You just get ripped of by affiliate programms."
Yes, The majority of affiliate companies rip you off. In fact, all affiliate companies steal a percentage of the revenue. They are only giving you a small cut for referring business. Not all of them are shady, but through experience you can identify poor performing affiliates and replace them with companies that provide a better return. The most important thing to understand is affiliate companies provide another stepping stone to make more revenue. Everyones goal should be providing their own products/service behind their own merchant account. There's nothing stopping you from doing both at the same time, once you reach this level.

"I just wanted to know what are mistakes people do and why they fail."
Lack of knowledge and experience is why people make mistakes. Find a method that can generate yourself a revenue source and use that initial funding to expand your experience by doing more. When you stop trying is when you have truly failed. If you keep failing at a particular method, while others are profiting from it on some level, you should ask yourself this.... "WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?"..... Identify the problems, come up with solutions to solve the problems, go down the list, repeat the process as many time as necessary, until you succeed.

OP is RIGHT. Guys grow the F&CK up!!! If your happy only making $100 a month online SOMETHING is very wrong with you!!! THERE IS MILLIONS to be made in this business. I definitely know. Im 22, and I've seen $100,000's and continue to see that per year from IM. OP is doing the right thing by giving a wake up call to those who arent reaching their full potential and are only making pennies. SCALE UP! :34:

Thank you for taking your time by answering my questions. First off my native language is English but you can blame my "bad" English on growing up in the wrong neighborhoods. I'm not a very educated individual because money is tight in my familie. I can't even afford a diploma/degree from a community college. Anyway I would like to thank you again for taking your time!

If anybody feels offended by my first post I would like to apologize because I didn't mean to hurt anybody's feelings.

There's no one actually putting 100 hours in a week, and only making $100 a month. Actually wait, let me put it this way. If you're putting 100 hours in a week and you're only making $100 a month, you're not doing it right. :S

Most people on here fail, because they don't put 8 hard hours a day into their work. Or rather, not even 1-2 hard productive hours of work, and several hours of productive strategic thinking away from the computer, like me. They don't have the persistence to do that day in and day out, even Christmas, and your birthday.

Lol is this reverse psychology? "you fail, i hope that makes you feel better about what you're doing."

Anyways, the answer is quite obvious. When people pursue these types of ventures without a plan in place, they give up because they don't instantly become w3althy. Move on to the next, and the next, etc. You have to pick something and stick it out, or you might as well not do anything. After all, investing 100 hours is a lot of experience gained, so you might not have already made it - but you're a lot closer than you were before. Learning from your mistakes, and testing sh1t out is half of IM - once you find something that passes the tests then scale it up.

Most of them fail because they execute it wrongly. I have seen many people only having half knowledge of SEO and then try making their own links ending up screwing their own website.

Some of reasons might be:

1) Excessive link building of poor quality
2) Bad On Page SEO
3) Hiring bad services where they end up getting unnatural links warning from google
4) Using spun or scraped content

Business doesn't start making $100k in one night. It takes time to mature. Putting 100 hours for $100 IS NOT a fail. It is investing your hardwork. A successful business take time to grow maybe a month or a year. All my website or my client's website started with earning $0.01 in the very beginning.

Is this post a joke? If so I don't get it.
I have chosen to attempt to persue Internet marketing in my spare time because I can't FIND job, if I had a job, I probably would have never found BHW.
I would have never learned anything about Java, writing, or PHP.
I wouldn't have decided to persue Computer Science as a learning path.
Internet Marketting has completely molded what I want to do in my life, regardless as to if I'm making anything now or not.
