I was ranking front page but getting no clicks due to unrelated title and content or so I thought so I decided to paste a new article in the page and change the url and title, thinking that wordpress would auto-redirect it. Turned out tho that Id already had to redirect from a previous url once already when I changed urls so the second time it wouldnt work and 90% of my seo was done on the 1st url of which it wasn't redirecting.

That tanked after a couple of days so I decided to make a new page and title since the url wasn't related to the kw and redirect. yes in hindsight I know it would have been better to just change the title, i fucked up big-style.

At first I hoped the juice might just pass thru to the new page and rank on its own. However when that wasn't the case i did a 301 redirect from both the old urls to the new one.

Now neither of them are ranking and its been a few weeks :(.

I don't understand why it didn't work? I've checked all the urls and they are redirecting correctly, but no G juice.... :(

I've also even looked at the old urls in google and the old urls are even updated to the new url when I type the old ones in the result in google shows the new url.

Also there's no point changing it back to the original url and content is there because google has now acknowledged the new url and 301 means permanent redirect doesn't it?
