Why did youtube push my video in notification views? And how does it work?

This is just weird, i dont understand how does that traffic work, if my video have over 1 min duration, it will push on browse features, but if it's below 1 min, it starts pushing on notification. What the hell? This views source dont have any ADs at all... (Well the only good thing is notifcation has the highest retention among all other traffic but still no money...)
 
yeah, notifications can bring super high retention but almost no ad revenue — it’s mostly loyal subs watching right away, not broad audiences.

Yeah, YouTube’s algorithm can be weird. Shorter videos often get pushed through notifications instead of browse

It’s basically YouTube testing engagement, not ad-focused traffic, but still good for retention and channel signals.
