Why Did Google PageRank Update Drop My PR?

More than a month ago, I bought quite a few (100+) backlinks from high PR (9, 8, 7, 6, ...) pages in a mix of blogroll, guest post, forum comment, profile, etc.

But it shocked me today when I find my site's homepage PR was dropped by 1. It's a fresh domain I registered and built from scratch for more than 2 years, not one that's traded on the market.

Does anyone have similar experience? How do you explain this and what should I do for the next PR update?

Maybe the websites you bought PR from dropped PR as well.

Like every once in a while, like 3 times a day someone opens a thread on this lame subject...

Maybe best you use the search and read up on the failed metrix subject...

But on a lighter note welcome to BHW!

There is a likelihood that those links you bought lost PR
or went dead (your site was removed).

pr means nothing in 2013, only if you sell on flippa, dont worry if ur traffic is good u will make money
