AIs answer your questions. They do it in a great way, but that'll all they do.

I still have to lookup stuff on stack overflow thanks very much, obviously with google! Even though I can get complete answers from chat gpt, sometimes you want a different angle, and more alternatives on some of the posts there, and on self-published programmer person blogs. So I can't see it getting replaced, only complimented.

ChatGPT is shit. Incredibly unreliable. It often just gives me false information about people and events. I honestly think i can be quicker just writing the article myself than bothering fact checking every little thing the bot says, because if i write it all myself, i will only write what i know. With the bot i literally need to fact check every single sentence. Plus, spin it a bit to sound better. All of that takes time.
As for as search engines, that's not what ChatGPT even attempts to be. It certainly doesn't replace google.

I've been saying this but people won't agree me, I believe google's ai is more advanced than chatgpt, It just isn't used as a text based content generator yet.
