Well,as a person of third world country we should start now,we should not wait a single moment for others. First world mean Europe,America,Canada etc. They keep clean their country because their law system are far more different from us. There people are more civilized than us. So don't worry, we should change, if nobody change then we must change. Like this way 1 will make 2, 2 will make 4 and 4 will make 8...... After that we can see everything change

Having 1 billion people doesn't help. Corona needs to keep some of these countries in check.
Like for the profile picture, but I disagree with your Thanos-like world views.

Bill Gates also slipped one about overpopulation, creating conspiracy theories that he's involved with Corona.

Personally I'm in favor of the theory that Corona is just because some chinese guy ate a bat that someone told as a joke, and wasn't manufactured in a lab.

Overpopulation is a fake problem, it's more like concentration that is the problem. Think about this, isn't most of the Amazon rainforest inexplored?

Just dump all those surplus people in there and VOILA

it comes down to education, responsibility and mentality. And if these are lacking (which they do) it then comes down to the law enforcing organizations to do their jobs, but in order for those institutions to do their jobs they must also be educated, responsible and to want to enforce the laws which, I assume, at this point don't exist. Which is why people are behaving worse than monkeys and other animals.

This, or imperceptibly radiate people's brains to become more conscious, more responsible, and more careful with the environment, and more respectful and protective with life in general, and with other people's lives in particular. But sure, the individuals and entities who have this power to radiate people are more preoccupied with bombarding them with thoughts of destruction, spending money, and irresponsibility than bombarding them with thoughts of protecting life and the environment, or instilling thoughts of learning, creating goods, and being kind towards each others. War and manipulation had always prevailed on this planet over responsibility and kindness.

And this is where our problems come from

Look at it this way: Why can't people in the west sprinkle their bottom with water once they're done pooping instead of wiping it with paper? If your face was full of s***, would you wipe it and keep on with your day as if nothing happened, kiss your family with that face, or would you rather wash it?

Do you kiss your family with your butt? When you meet people, do you take off your pants, bend over and fart in their general direction?

If not, why? Could it be that, perhaps, your face and your arse are two vastly different places of your body, meant for completely different usage?

all starts from the habit and the environment, You are used to seeing a dirty or clean environment then it becomes your habit, because you are used to seeing it.
now, it all depends on self-awareness.

Pretty sure that one thing you don't want to make the conversation about is toilet habits and the differences in how people wipe their ass in India compared to the West mate ;)

Golden rule: never shake with the left hand?

(Also many Westerners have bidets (especially in Europe) or use wet wipes)

We all love india man ,but the problem is loving is not enough ,we dont care about cleanliness thats the problem we answer always a different question the question is about cleanliness not about love

Lol Is that two pictures even a fair comparison ? The type of Indian series you've started is somewhat selective in nature. I have clean streets in my city and neighboring cities. See the type of people and shops in the pic. I can clearly see intention of people in those pics.

If you're generalizing India on the basis of dirty streets

Stop generalizing India as whole as seen in your few threads. People are different everywhere nothing is exclusive to India.

I accept we can be lot cleaner ...there are still few people left from older generation once they are gone new generation will comply better with Western standards

See there is no problem with criticism but when people neglect and fail to appreciate good thing on purpose all it takes a minute to spot people like that .

Here is my North Indian state vs South India and World.

And the irony is if government bring population control law today people will start blocking roads for months and government will have to take back just like previous bills and ongoing farmer protests .

Bro it's a bad argument.

Lucknow population: 2.8M
Singapore population: 5M
Tokyo population: 25M

Singapore is one of the cleanest places on earth and way cleaner than many western cities because of laws and mentality, and it's double as big as Lucknow.

Singapore was also a British colony.

I'm not from India or anything. But I don't understand why people are giving those a hard time that want to improve the place they live at. It's not like he's talking bad about where he's living, he's simply making a basic comparison.

I can tell some people who are from India or wherever get offended by stuff like this "wHy dO yoU wAnT tO bE liKe tHe wEsT" - I really doubt it has anything to do with that as much as it does him/her just wanting to do better for the place they're at.

Rather if anything, it should be good motivation to start a discussion on it. Although I doubt you can do much by talking about it on this forum. Perhaps get involved with politics or start a local movement and get in talks with people who are in power.

I was in the same boat , when i have not left the country but when you leave the country and see other countries whose economy is pretty much the same or even poor then us are managing to keep themselves neat and tidy.
The first problem is not even the dirtiness but the mindset of accepting it as normal unhygienic is not normal ,once you leave the country and see for yourself how others are dealing ,china has more population then us but they somehow managed to build a proper infrastructure and their priority is always development .
Our priority is always statues, religious places, memorials ,all other useless things the money which is collected as tax never ever returns to the common man ,atleast southern states people make the noise.

As the image shows UP would be 5th most populous state ,it is not a thing to say proudly we should feel ashamed to say that ,UP is the most unsafe place for women in the planet earth ,do we have enough space for people to live in ? do we have enough resources for such a huge dense people ? do we have enough water and food for them ? do we have jobs for them ? .

what is the UP Govt done for population control ? what is UP govt done for women empowerment ?
most southern states women says no to 3rd child max they want 2 kids ,most people stay with 1 kid .they understand that we are harming the planet and there will not be any resource for others if we keep producing in such a huge number.we have lots of issues on our desk what we do ? we will be happy with some statues and memorials.

Except temples, cows, have you read any news they have opened some medical college or govt schools ?

have you read they talk about women safety ? have you read they talk about punishing rapists ? atleast once have they condemned rapes ? . Having all these we have keep our mouth shut and still praise what is happening.

If they are successful that's it, they don't really care about their society as long as their daily life remains unaffected.

That's why you can see lots of successful Indian people settling abroad.

Unlike Chinese people who go back and start their own startups in their Home country

The main problem is India needs a good leader, which will never happen. Both Prime Minister Modi and the previous PM, Manmohan's achievements are considered likes ants in front of Xi Xinping's Dinosaur Achievements.
