why cant we keep out streets clean like west ?

It is a sad question and iam looking for answers and opinions ,why 3rd world countries roads and streets are dirty ,even some of european countries like belarus despite being in economical trouble they keep their country clean why country like india we cant keep the country clean ,the change should start from us right ? our opinions are welcomed

And what does that make you? An Indian who's hating the West? Just because?

He pointed out a thing that could very well be beneficial to his country. It's the same the other way around. The West has a lot to learn from other countries as well.

Objectivity and admittance that you perhaps don't know everything and there's always room for improvement goes a long way. Whatever you do in life.

Sadly.. most of the time - people = trash.

India is.. well.. beautiful(not an indian). Population has indeed a huge effect on the economy and the way things work. Of course, that doesn't mean that the country shouldn't care about its people.

Throughout my life experience I have learned that by showing respect, you will receive it as well. That may not work 100% of the times with people, yet... if you respect your country, you will try to help. If not it's just words.

It's not about being poor. The population of India is too damn high to keep everyone in control. Everyone's got a different level of education. And on top of that to keep the litter in control, the government needs to provide proper facilities. I was in Bangalore once and couldn't find a bin so I had to keep my waste in my bag.
But comparing India with the west or low population countries is not going to help.
India's hygiene problems are going to stay for a long time unless there's a massive collective effort from both the government and the citizens.

Lol, I am not an Indian. Also, comparing never helps. In this case, he's comparing a country that is almost a continent in itself with a bunch of countries that already are at their peak of development and with a very low population density.
If you're going to compare, you need to compare everything then, GDP per capita as an example. You'll never be happy. Everything is a process and takes time, provided steps are being taken in the right direction.
 
Japan has a dense population, I don't think the large population is an excuse to not keep the place clean. It's all down to every individual's self-discipline. Which a majority do not have yet. I live in one of the oldest metro cities in India(Madras).
 
Stop Complaining dude,This is your 3rd or 4th Thread of Defaming the Place where you live,Accept it or Earn enough to move away from there.

Both of your recent posts make sense ,

1) if education level makes difference villages should be dirty right ? and cities with educated people it should be more clean right i mean comparatively

2) I accept with you fully ,India is almost a continent with tons of languages and ethnic group ,regardless of governments who try to paint and give same identify for all ethnic groups ,like bringing one single uniformed government for all over Europe and bringing one single official language and suppressing all others ,bringing one religion common for all ,such things are denying the plurality and beauty of India and if you are following the history ,south parts and north was same some 70 years back now south has exponentially developed and it's healthcare is par to europe in IMR and MMR ,meanwhile north parts are competing with poor African countries.

3)Most south stats who have stick to education in mother tongue and embraced English has grown exponentially as per my observation

4)Not only economical growth is development and quality of living,quality of living has lots of other factors,the entire community/town should live atleast a decent life with food and water ,one person living like king and others live in poverty the community/town will stay in poverty.

I always keep my street clean ,we have a community of youngsters who plant trees and what max i could do is as a community we are keeping our street clean ,everything starts from questioning ,why you are getting pissed off ? dont others in the world does not know how it looks like ,or everyone who questions you people ask to leave the country so none should question we all should live in the same old *

Okay you joined this forum few months back ,there were lots of members who are BHW did wonderful things in real life .Few old members knows what has happened and what help people are doing so if you dont know anything i think you should keep quiet)

Question is not about what BHW People have done,Question is about that it doesn't make sense talking about these topics like Country Defaming and complaining about it on BHW.

If you don't like it,How do you plan to change it? By opening a Thread on BHW?
If you like west,Why don't you simply move to West?
 
Look at it this way: Why can't people in the west sprinkle their bottom with water once they're done pooping instead of wiping it with paper? If your face was full of s***, would you wipe it and keep on with your day as if nothing happened, kiss your family with that face, or would you rather wash it? Yet people in the east do it.

Add to that countless problem inherent to the west and not present in the east: taxes, people being generally crazy, expensive as hell healthcare, etc...

So maybe the tradeoff of having a dirty street but being around people who are literally and figuratively not full of s*** is worth it after all, and I'm from Morocco so I'm not sure who has the worst infrastructure you or I.

Poor people are dirtier, Simple as that. Being poor brings lots of problem, Having dirty clothes and streets are one of them.
When your priority is feeding yourself or your family, who cares about clean streets.
