I posted here about 4 months ago asking a similar question when my channel was brand new, and everyone told me that my content is fine and with time and a constant stream of uploads, my channel will grow. Well... its been awhile and I feel like I have made little to no growth.
Here's a link to me if anyone is interested in seeing themselves: https://www.youtube.com/lifewithstan
I hit my first 1k subs about a week ago and I'm growing very incrementally with sub count, but the actual views are still suffering. 150-250 views seem to be the average.
I'm currently backpacking Asia, partially to grow my channel and to be able to crank out frequent content. I'm trying to post once every 2 to 3 days. If I'm being objective as I can be about my own content, I don't think it's bad at all. I like and respond to nearly every comment I get and I do the best I can with my thumbnails. Maybe the tags that I use suck?
Any sort of feedback and advice would be very appreciated!
Oh and on a side note. About 3 months ago, I started to comment on huge vloggers videos right after they were released, and I got hundreds and sometimes thousands of thumbs up, with my comment being pushed to the top - despite the fact that the comments were veiled advertisements telling people that I have a vlog myself. I did this for about 4 days and consistently got my comments to the top, and getting thousands of views on a couple of my new videos because of it. Now, anytime I comment, I'm lucky if I get one thumbs up. Was I reported for advertising my channel? Or why does this no longer work at all. I got probably 650 of my 1000 subs in the 4 days that I did this.
