Why Can't I Post??

So I just spent ages typing up a massive post only to find out that there is some moderation thing that thinks its spam. Its 100% legit genuine post. It has no links or any URLs in it at all. It has no swearing. And is not selling anything.

I went around and tried to make 15 posts to get rid of this thing but its still not letting me publish. Am I not allowed to mention any product names at all?? My post wouldn't really make sense if I edited that out.

Can anyone please tell me how to get my post published?

did you have the cursor actually within the text area?

I have done that before, clicked off the actually text area and then started typing. 5 minutes later you look up and realise you have done nothing

Its not because I just joined. Its something within my post it doesn't like. I'm just not sure what it is.

littleleg2008, I'm not sure what your saying? My post was all written and ready to go. But there is some sort of atuo-moderation thing in BHW that won't let the post be published.

hmmm not sure what BST is?

I just tried to post a link showing which the forum I want to post to..... but the moderation thing has poped up again. Apparently it also doesn't allow linking within BHW.... this moderation thing is way overboard if you ask me.

Well there actually isn't any links or URLs in the post I want to make. So I have no idea what it doesn't like.

I was just saying that even trying to post a URL in this thread that points to within BHW doesn't work either (overkill?).

It's not overkill, it's a precautionary measure to ensure that people don't spam their links everywhere.

Just go create some quality content for the forum and after 100 posts try to post your message/thread. And if it looks like you're trying to spam you'll most likely get banned.

I understand the need to stop spam. But my post contains zero links (or promotion of any kind) so I'm not sure why it getting flagged.

This thread isn't really here for me to whine about this thing to get it stopped... I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to get my post published? What other things besides links don't they like? I'd gladly remove whatever is getting my post flagged if someone told me what it was.
