Why can't I post links in youtube comments?

I want to comment a video with my bit.ly link but every time I try it it says: error, try again. The same video has some other comment with bit.ly link. I can comment without link. What's up with that? :S

You can post bit.ly links. But bit.ly will transform your link to bit.ly/insertrandomletters change it to bit.ly\insertrandomletters and you're good to go. Works for me. (notice the dashes going in different ways)
