What are the ranks and how do you move up the totem pole? Sorry for the noob question but I'd been looking for a page about that since I got here.

The 3 different ranks are standard, junior VIP, and VIP.

Junior VIP is going to be changed soon but right now it is 100 posts + 30 days donation or 200 posts + 60 days (i think lol)

You have to be voted into VIP by the current VIP members

All of this can be found in the Read Before Posting!! post that is above each section

No offense to ya HaRRo, but I think that "Thank You" thread should be tossed out and all those thank you's removed.

I've always looked at thank yous as a rough guide to seeing how much someone has contributed to this forum. Now I see people with one or two posts with 100+ thank you's.

HaRRo I luv ya man, but that thread has to go haa.

I don't know if it's just me, but personally I think it would be a good idea to have that one nixed.

This is a great forum. I have to agree with that. Probably the best.
But paying for that? $500.
I do not think so.
I was part of Stompernet once, and I still remember feeling.
No more.
