Many people are asking if it’s altcoin season because the market is green, but the numbers say otherwise. Altcoins are still behind Bitcoin. The CMC Altcoin Season Index is only 27/100, showing that Bitcoin is still leading. Bitcoin dominance is high at 58.56% and even went up today, which is keeping most altcoins from moving much.

A few big coins are doing better than Bitcoin this week. Ethereum and XRP, for example, have gained more, helped by ETF interest, staking activity, and renewed focus on major Layer 1 networks. On social media, ETH, XRP, and SOL are getting more positive mentions, but this is limited to just a few coins. That’s probably why BG TCC Phase 24 is getting attention, since the current conditions are good for participation.

For now, Bitcoin is still the main driver of the market. Some altcoins are showing early signs of life, but it’s not a full altcoin season yet. There’s also a gap between online hype and actual trading, which could lead to sudden moves if sentiment changes. Until Bitcoin dominance drops and more altcoins start showing strength, BTC is likely to stay in control

BTC.d seems to be on a rise again after a couple months of decline. It needs to top out before there’ll be an alt season.
