Why big sites are never punished

Big sites are reviewed so much time by Google and after they built reputation google almost wont check them at all

Because Google is a bitch and Bitches like big boys.

Yahoo Voices, eHow, Helium, etc. were all big sites that were raking in the money via google search with google adsense. Hundreds of writers, thousands of content, and millions of dollars per year. They flooded Google search with their crap. It was only when other companies, news sites, and popular bloggers started complaining that Google took a stand. Those sites were part of the reason why Google started with all these major updates.

If I am not mistaken, even ebay got on Google's bad side.

Now the only reason why Google won't go after other big sites is because Google need them just as much as they need Google.

Because those sites offer value to the users and you 500 word, keyword-stuffed, $2.50 articles don't.

Not accurate at all. I wrote all my stuff by hand and I'm English born and raised, even got qualifications in English Lit, people were naturally sharing my stuff on forums (sadly forums are NoFollow)... Yet Penguin still hit my site, probably due to the disgraceful links bought here last year. Good quality writing isn't going to protect you honestly. I don't think their robot is even capable of detecting good quality... I'm trying to be careful now of using dupe subheadings... But ofc when you're running a review site (I don't personally) or similar there's only so many ways you can write "Pros" "Cons" and "Summary" before you start re-hashing.

Its because they provide some value to the visitors. Google loves those sites because of its structured content and proper maintenance of all factors.

The real answers are:

1. They are unable to identify spam or bad content. So what are they doing? The chances are higher that a big brand has better content then the rest. Simple as that.
Eric Schmidt sayed some years ago: Brands are the answer...

2. Also if people are searching for a website often... that means they want to see it. And user expierience is more important then google guidelines. As long as searchers are happy, they search and google gets money...

3. Big publishers have power. They can harm google with lobbying, in court, bad press and so on...

Big sites have quality content and many real visitors and huge traffic, people find many useful informations on those sites, so G always make favour the site which provide useful information to people

Please keep your Anti-Semitism (opinions of Google maybe) to yourself.
I find your questioning offensive.
Have a good day!

Why big sites never got slaped by google ?

If you take exemple of big sites news like yahoo news, huffin ect they just copy paste articles between each other
if you take wordpress as exemple, they have tons of backlinks coming mainly from footer theme, is it the correct google guidelines? lol
i remember long ago reading a blog post about expedia too and some black hat seo used

why? i know google is zionnist and zionnists love money so my conclusion is i guess its because of money lol those big sites are feeding google

what you think

Hey OP,

The majority of sites you mentioned all have a huge # of backlinks, well aged domain, lots of content and High PR. DA/PA

Take a look at http://news.yahoo.com/ for example.

- PR 9 (very rare)
- 177,937,451 backlinks in ahrefs
- Alex rank 4

Any site with the above metrics is sure to dominate almost any keyword in its niche and vertical. Hence why you see wikipedia, amazon, ebay and yahoo news on Page 1 so often, their domain metrics are just on a whole another level.

Hope this helps answer your question :)

Why not embrace your opinions/theories and invest in these companies/sites. Who knows, you may be able to piggy back off their page/domain authority and leech some of that Zionist $$$ that you are so offended by.

They do get punished sometimes but it always looks more like a warning to the rest of the webmasters than a standard penalty:

Code:

When a big brand gets hit everybody notices and the news spread really fast: if you do this or that against the guidelines you'll get hit. It's better for scaring people than a hundred Matt Cutts videos.

Then the brand makes a minor fix and the penalty/manual action gets instantly removed. As a small webmaster you should expect months of hard work to resolve the same penalty, but when a big brand gets hit the whole industry is watching. Google knows it and that's why they are so quick to remove the penalty sending a new message to the folks around: if you behave good, you'll be fine.

Huffington Post has been punished for selling links before. Wordpress has been penalised for their footer links before too... Please do your research on such websites before hand.

Lots of quality content, lots of time, lots of work. Provide value to visitors. You can earn the right to get a bit spammy with Google.

Brands are much harder to hit with negative SEO or simialr, becasue they have so many quality and brand signals.

Google just knows far too uch about them and has signals that thell them beyond the shadow of a doubt that they have a loyal following.

So they will ignore quite a few lo-quality sighals.

I say that having run multiple medium-sized brands.

Has nothig to do with zionism... a good trusted brand is just a safer bet than a 3 month old EMD with no signals at all (or only links).

Create a site with the blogspot platform. It seems to be immune from any algo updates by G.
