Getty is one of the serval sources Canva uses for images. The original source has been identified and tagged.

I have Canva Edu, I thought the images were free.

On the Canva Media Licenses pages it says that if the image has an indentifiable person, place, logo or trademark then they can’t guarantee that they have the appropriate releases for commercial use. It suggests to check the image source or contant them if unsure.

Super strange is an image of green beans without any person or logo or anything. Of course, I already deleted the Pin, but I am concerned about what happens to other images that are supposed to be free to use.

Then I don’t really know.
Maybe it has to do something that you have an EDU account and it is supposed to be for education and not commercial use ? I can’t think of any other reason why.

Pinterest doesn't want to get into unnecessary trouble. I believe Canva got their images from somewhere, I don't Know if they'll be free for distribution outside of Canva.Why below the title of my Pin is this statement?
I get the images from Canva. This is the first time that I have a claim like this on one of my Pins.
