Why Are You An Entrepreneur?

I was a stock broker and was working for a firm 9 - 5, i make and risk more money trading on my own which i like most so quit job and living on my own.

I would choose 1. Why not 2 because sometimes being an influential person limits freedom. Say Donald Trump. He can't walk freely in streets with Pajamas!!:eek:

If President of america comes to your home and say "do you like to be my assistant but you can't wear pajamas in streets."

I bet you burn all your pajamas in home and go with the president LOL

Got tired of making someone else rich. Really though it's mainly about the freedom to work when and from where I want.

Did not want a boss or coworkers or commute. Just grind on internet marketing at home until financial goals were met.

"Freedom"? "Your own boss"? Seriously?

Here's the truth: You end up having an employee you can't fire (you) and a boss (again, you) that isn't doing much bossing to the employee.

Yes, it has flexibility. Yes, there's money. But not if you're slacking around - you have the market as a boss and it will summarily substitute your services/products for someone who serves them better.
Your comment was overlooked - we've clearly got people in this thread who make a few K a month with no other responsibilities. Freedom usually creates procrastination - I love the pressure of being my own "boss".

I am a ENTREPRENEUR because i don't like being in comfort zone. I am a ENTREPRENEUR because I believing creating the comfortable jobs to those who are afraid to get out of their comfort zones.

I am a ENTREPRENEUR because i believe that i can jump off the cliff at any time, anywhere and build the plane on the way down. I don't have 9 to 5, I have 24/7.. I fear nothing, I believe in myself and everything I do, I live my dreams.

For me, entrepreneurship is adding values to the city and motivating others to go behind their purpose. And when you do this you automatically get the sense of freedom
