why are all the offers( i forgot to correct the mistake in the headline) like 1000 dollar gift card, get a free ipad ect ect....
i mean it would be so much easier for us and the publishers to make the offers something like "10 dollar gift card" or " get new ipad sleeve"........

It is hyped up because average IQ in US is 100 and not 130. Most of the people are simply stupid enough to get caught by the hype, that's it...

Well that's pretty damn stereotypical, they do it because most people worldwide would be appealed to something that says "Free iPad" if you find some international offers I'm sure you will find some offers just like that, you stereotyping P.O.S

I can't believe some campaigns are still using all that hyped up fluff that USED to work in the PAST.

The average person isn't going to fill out pages and pages and pages of info and then refer friends just to get an ipad sleeve or 10 dollar giftcard. By the time you've done enough to "earn" your ipad, you've spent hours and come out of pocket and so have at least 3 of your friends.

I used to wonder the same thing until I read the terms and conditions as to how people "win" these items.

The advertisers need the people to go that extra mile and fill out all those pages in order for them to come out ahead.

I do actually think the offers are real but you have to do a LOT of offers to get it.

Marusia is correct. Even though many offers pay only on the first email submit, advertisers often depend on the information filled out by users far after the first submit to make a profit.

yes, of course bro. simple opt in email addresses that are a little targeted are not too valuable anymore these days. people can put in fake information etc.

but i am sure that most people fill out the 2nd page, even when the offer is just an email submit. that's why you should probably promote 2nd page offers if you have decent traffic, they usually have higher EPC's then simple email / zip submits :)
