Why Are Some Degens Always Early?

Been watching the Solana space for a while, and I keep noticing the same thing: the same people are always early. Whether it’s meme coins, AI projects, or new DeFi plays, they’re already in before the hype hits.

At this point, it’s clear that being early isn’t luck—it’s a system.

Some patterns I’ve noticed:
✅ They don’t wait for Twitter influencers—they move first.
✅ They track early buys & follow smart money wallets.
✅ They focus on narratives before the crowd catches on.
✅ They know what will pump before it actually does.

It’s got me thinking…
How do they keep getting in before the rest of us?

Anyone here cracked the code on spotting these plays before they go viral? Let’s talk.

Yeah, and the vast majority of them are simply insiders that are probably launching the token themselves - 99% of the time you see a random wallet doing a 1000x it’s that.

thank you chatgpt

Early degens be like:

✅ I called a Trump coin at $0.0001
✅ I told you to buy Bitcoin at its first block
✅ Now I'm telling you to buy this coin [insert paid shill here] before it goes 1000x!!!

They are not early. They are farming engagement and inviting you to be their liquidity

It’s either they are mostly insiders who have direct links with project owners or they are investors who join groups that give them access to buy tokens early before they’re launched. For instance, i heard those who joined Bitget onchain were able to buy $RFC and $REMUS earlier before they listed which made them more returns compared to those that buy these tokens after listing.

The onchain feature also gave the users opportunities to trade degen and onchain tokens from their spot accounts directly without the need of Dex wallets.

You didn't mention the real reason: they are insiders. All the rest are details, nobody can ''move first'' and randomly buy a shitcoin without knowing its potential, or just guessing ''ah, it's a good idea, a nice narrative, it will probably pump''

There’s no big deal about it, any Bitget user can make use of the onchain feature to discover tokens earlier before listing. It also provides relevant data like volume and number of hodlers for users to make decisions. Also, AI is used to filter out tokens with little potential.

Majority of wallets you see aping huge amounts in memecoins are indeed nothing but insiders tied to the project. Not many people will throw more than 50/100 USDT in random memecoins of which the vast majority go straight to -99%.

Frfr it’s all about wallet tracking and sniffing hype before the herd catches wind.

I think you should check out the onchain yourself because i personally traded $MUTUMBO earlier yesterday and it did 3x. Also onchain traders get to win up to 10 BGB after the first trade.

100% are insider plays. There’s so many botched launches these days it’s pretty much all PvP.

You may be right to some extent, but saying 100% is something I don't entirely agree with, as there are many real and solid Solana meme coins out there that are performing well, and $RENT is proof that the trend is still going strong. Inspired by the idea that "rent always goes up," this fresh meme coin has been gaining serious traction on Solana and is now live on Bitget Onchain, giving even more degens access to the action while the price is still in a prime accumulation zone.
