why are old channels worth more?

i see people selling or buying old youtube channels from like 2007 as if they're special.. why exactly?
i have a channel from 2007 with 2 strikes now so maybe i'll be more careful if this is the case.

An older account helps to prevent ban as your more trusted then a new account....

But the account has to be used and engaging ,for a full age effect.

The idea is ,the older the account ,less bans and , verified requests
