Flow:It's definitely very strange the fact that your video page shows stats of 1000's of views and Insight only shows 9 views a day ( btw, I understand direct typing of the URL shows as "viral/other", which doesn't appear on your stats either ). Now,
I don't know the first thing about how bots work, but it seems to me the source/quality of your traffic is one that Insight can't/won't identify: for example, a bot briefly hitting the URL may count as a view on your video page but is not identified as such on Insight ( this kind of "visitor" may also explain the lack of comments/ratings ).
I would love to hear some insight on this from some of our resident techies

/more experienced members.
Also, for those interested to know a little more on how YT counts views, here's a link to a TechCrunch article discussing this - some of the comments are good, too -
http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/07/1...unt-some-youtube-views-dont-seem-to-register/
( It's more on YT shaving views, but if you're into YT marketing... )
Therookie: Yep, that's been happening to me, too. Some do type in the URL, but most just go for the click.
In fact, from studying other videos I got the idea to tell people on your final take at the end of the video to "click the link on the right", instead of only showing your URL and saying "go there". Haven't seen a great difference, though, but I'm just starting to try this.
The best of luck to you both
