Hey BHW members,
I’m getting clicks on my ads but no conversions.
What could be the reason?
  • Bad landing page?
  • Wrong targeting?
  • Weak ad copy?
How do you usually optimize campaigns for better conversions?

Check your landing page first because if the traffic is there but not buying, your copy probably just isn't sealing the deal. Audit your funnel and make sure the offer is actually clear, otherwise you're just burning budget on clicks that don't care
 
maybe landing page not good or slow, targeting wrong audience or ad copy not matching page, try better offer, fast page, clear call to action and test different ads and audience.
 
Mostly because of bad targeting or weak landing page. you may get clicks but not the right people or no strong offer.
 
All three are important, fix them only then conversions will come, but first fix the landing page and right targeting is very important otherwise no matter how many clicks you get, there will be no benefit.
 
In my case traffic was not the issue, It was mismatch between ad and landing page. people clicked but did not find what they expected, so no conversions.
 
I think this is because the traffic is not qualified or the offer doesn’t match the user intent, so clicks come but people don’t take action.
 
Check if your targeting matches buyer intent, not just traffic volume.
Also make sure your landing page clearly continues the promise made in the ad.
 
CTR paired with zero conversion normally indicate a expectation gap your ad making a promise that your landing page is not keeping

it sould be wrong audience or weak offer. people click but do not see enough reason to take action, so no conversions happen.
 
Yeah, clicks but no conversions mostly mean something off after click, first check landing page if slow or not clear people just leave, make it simple with clear offer and call to action, also maybe targeting wrong so traffic not interested, try more specific keywords and match ad copy with page, also check if form too long or confusing, and always test different versions small small changes help a lot.
 
In my case it was wrong intent, people clicking were just browsing not ready to buy. once I changed keywords to more buyer intent, conversions improved a bit.

Optimizing campaign depend on target geo,hosting wrong landing page maybe no good url and pointing content for reader to get convert with ease.
 
Most times clicks but no conversions happens because the landing page doesn’t match what the ad promised, or the traffic intent is not strong enough.
 
Most of the time it’s a mismatch between ad and landing page, so users click but don’t take action. I usually fix the message first, then test targeting and improve the CTA to boost conversions.
 
Landing page, ad copy and audience targeting - all must be aligned. You need to audit whether they are aligned or not.
 
most common reason is mismatch between traffic and landing page, like keywords bringing wrong users or offer not clear, also landing page trust and speed matters a lot, weak ad copy can bring low intent clicks too, i usually check keyword intent first, then improve landing page message and add negative keywords to filter bad traffic.
 
yeah happens a lot, usually ads are fine but audience intent is off or landing page not convincing. i normally check search terms and user flow first, then tweak targeting and simplify the landing page.
