Why are most methods here not workable or just shitty scams?

Seems like every second "NOOB GET IN HERE for $50 a day" ends up being some shitty scam that won't earn you shit.

am i wrong or just looking at the wrong methods?

Why would something that takes hours of creativity and produces tons of profit be shared freely for anyone to take? So of course most of those "noob-friendly" things don't work. The ones that do require work.

That being said, there are many methods here that work. A lot of them require modifications and tweaking for them to work for you. Most require a lot of work, at least initially. Usually the ones that don't work are the ones that say "NOOBS GET EASY CASH," "ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT REQUIRED," etc.

Also, you can construct your own methods from information you glean from the forum. This will often work best because you make them for yourself with your own goals and intentions in mind, not what someone else had in mind.

Most of the stuff on here is just scraps - I would never share my ideas - for ungarateful people to sponge off - however if you know what your doing - you can twist them into gold - if you cant - well thats just sad :(

Also, most of those shitty methods do work for someone. Just because you aren't able to duplicate the success yourself doesn't mean it doesn't work at all.

The particular niche you select, the particular product, the specific ads you make, the specific cities you post in, the actual domains you choose, sales pages you create, articles you write, comments you post, etc. can all make the difference between success or failure on just about any method you choose.

Different people can all follow the exact same steps and still have different levels of success.

Some will work if you put the time and a twist to them.

First, thanks OP for giving the community a valuable opportunity to share some valuable insight and shed some light on the "non working methods and scams" aspect of BHW. I think I speak for everyone when I say what we need is the chance to educate some people as to why they are failing so miserably.
Alright, to tackle the first part of your question. The reason most methods aren't workable is that 95% of the people that read a post on a method and try it out have sh*t for brains. The vast majority of people will copy paste the method directly and cause it to become oversaturated. Others will copy paste the method into an ebook and sell an idea that could have made hundreds of people thousands of dollars. Instead, more lazy people are given the chance to further oversaturate the method. But, there is a small, glimmering piece of hope here. Maybe, just maybe, one day people will learn to use their brains (assuming they are able to find them) and actually put their own twist on a method and make it work for them in their own context and not cause oversaturation. (Do not hold your breath, suggest buying A LOT of compressed oxygen)
And to adress the second part of your question, the term scam is rather harsh and depends entirely on point of view. Instead of scam, we should be considering these works of art to be an "simplified wealth redistribution system". To rephrase this, these so-called "scams" often involve targeting people of lesser intelligence and relieving them of money that they will more than likely squander on porn or cheap decals for their poorly modified import cars(also referred to as douchewagons). Instead of this money being squandered and put in to the pockets of unscrupulous businessmen preying on these poor misguided morons, we should be using the invisible hand of black hattery to guide these people to doing the proper thing and investing in us so that we may better ourselves and humankind. We can also think of this as natural selection, or survival of the fittest, if you will. That being said, if you feel that you are taking advantage of someone then always remember, someone will be taking these fools' money, so why shouldn't it be going to something other than douchewagons and porn?
Thanks.

After a while you can just tell which ones don't work, it's like a sixth sense.

Also alot of the noob friendly methods do require alot of time and effort.. So you have to think is it worth the time and investment to tackle the method.

What I like doing is tweaking the method in my own way so it works for me.

Bottom line is if it looks to good to be true, it probably is. Words to live by.

Some methods do work. Its isnt so easy as it seems,

Takes time , efforts.

@OP : you would think its just a scam because it didnt work for you ?

Do you think all businesses have the same success?

i agree some methods here are just pure imagination, But some are for real.

Nothing is easy though.

People never share their earning methods
they just post used methods
so you must use some twists to earn more

What have you done so far that hasn't worked? How long did you work at it?

I've tried about 5 in the last two weeks spending a couple hours on a few of them. After a while I saw I was earning like $1 or $2 using macros and sneaky refferal tactics. I look back at the thread and most comments seem generically positive with only a few negative posts that seemed closer to the truth.

I recommend you try and stick with one method.

I remember reading that majority of people that read methods don't even take action or barely spend anytime on them because they expect quick cash.

I'm using a method that I read on here and when I started, I only earned $1 a day. Now it's making me $20 a day.

You're right, there are a lot of scam methods here(most from overhyped warriorforum WSO's) but there are also a few that work very well if you can find them.

Overall, the best methods come from doing your own trial and error.

There's your first problem. Spend 10 hours on the method that appeals the most to you, and don't give up after two weeks.

Yes, some people are scammers, even here. Although I like to think this is quite rare. Here's a simple formula to measure a method's 'workability':

W = T x S
----
P

W = workability
T = time
S = skill
P = potential earnings

So if method X claims that by reading a 10-page ebook, you can earn your first $2,000 by this time next week, workability is pitifully low. But method Y gives you step by step instructions which can earn you a few dollars but is scalable, your time and effort will (eventually) be rewarded. Someone else said it best, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

On a side note, capital investment will always increase your IM earning potential. It is an unfortunate side effect that many people enter IM because they're broke and seduced by the lure of 'easy money.'

I think also some things that worked a few years ago no longer works now (not without extensive tweaking). I've read at least three "noob" posts that were originally posted in 2009 and are basically useless now.

Because you're approaching it wrong. Its not meant to be like a tutorial you follow step by step but rather an insight into what others are doing. It should open your eyes to fundamentals/techniques - anything from where there is good traffic or how to monetize a certain niche.

At the end of the day it should give you a little something that sets a lightbulb off on how you can twist it and apply it to something else, etc.

If you're trying to duplicate someone's campaign chances are you don't know 100% what they're doing from 3 paragraphs and thus you'll fail.

And finally just because we're online doesn't mean you're going to see results instantly. If you think spending a few hours on an avenue is going to yield results you're mistaken. Many things take months to start seeing decent returns if you skip around because your paypal doesn't fill up after 30 minutes you've defeated yourself right there.

I am a total n00b on this but I do see a few flaws in your logic, no offence intended. I don't think you can make any serious money by doing little to no work at all. Perhaps some know how but I am quite sure they will not share for free. Not while there is still serious money to be earned anyways. I also don't look at the newbie guides as a cut and paste method but as a simplified way to explain a method. Being the n00b that I am I still need to google abbreviations and methods. As an example: I googled SEO. *redface* You don't start out reading Hamlet either right? It takes some training and education to understand what is being said. Personally, I like the newbie guides a lot and wish there were more of them or perhaps a separate section in the forum. Other than that, reading the page I discover you actually did make some money from the methods given on this site. Not a lot, but still. To me it sounds like you need to stick to one method that works and scale it up. 1 dollar a day is more than 300 a year and registration+hosting can be done by a n00b like me for 40 euro's a year. This profit margin is good enough for me. I would definitely not classify a method I only spend some time on and not actual money to be a scam, especially if it did make me some profit. Again, I am a n00b and don't mean to offend you so please ignore as you see fit. :)
