Why is it so hard to convert email submit offers? I have an account in cpabeyond and I have tried many email submit offers only to get no conversions. I have clicks but no conversions. I find it hard to believe that entering an email could be that hard to complete an offer. Have I misunderstood email submit offers? Do the user actually has to enter more info than just his email? When does the conversion happen? When he/she confirms the email in his/her inbox? Thanks for answering.

It's not hard, they are shaving. They usually pay for only 10 - 20 % leads.
If they would pay normally, then the CR rate would be 80-90%.
Here is an advice - find the email submit offer which pay lowest price. 0.40-0.50 $, because they are legit, they usually have 20 - 30 % CR rate.
    It's still better to get 1000's of 0.40$ CR's, then 1 or 2 1$ CR's :)

Shaving is when a network steals leads for their own profit, I doubt this is a case of shaving. I think you mean scrubbing

Scrubbing is what advertisers do in order to keep a healthy profit off the traffic. It's usually an automated system that does this, after determining what the traffic is worth, it can automatically adjust the EPC of the offer so the advertiser isn't losing money.

Might be your traffic. Some traffic just doesn't convert for shit, Twitter would be an example of shit traffic (usually). How many clicks are you actually sending to give the offer a chance?

Also to answer your question about when it converts, most convert on the 1st page after they submit their email, but many do convert after they've filled out the 2nd page. Generally a network would specify if it converts on page 2.

Not really, email offers for me convert at 15%-30%. You really have to have a very relevant offer, if the item in the offer is not in their head, they're not going to fill it.

A lot of affiliates don't understand that your source of traffic is a huge variable in conversions.

If you got your email list from people who are interested in cooking recipes and mail them offers for credit checks, then you are most likely not going to get conversions.

I see it so often on the boards that affiliates scream "Shave" or whatnot when an offer doesn't convert, then when you ask for their traffic source you realize its either blind traffic or completely irrelevant traffic.

100 hits or 1 000 000 hits can be worth the same amount of money if you learn how to drive the right traffic to the right offers.

Only way to get zip/email submits to convert consistently is to rotate through multiple networks. This is also a great way to split test and find out if your suspicion is correct or it's just your shitty traffic... ;)

I am pretty sure the the offers are good and that the traffic converts. I had one day 19 clicks and 11 conversions on a first page submit (etc not email but something more difficult) , second day 24 clicks 12 converts and the niche was not related at all but as the visitors really wanted to see the page I had locked then they filled it out.

I am pretty sure that an email for free iPod/iPad would convert much better than that offer. So.. I feel like the offers are broken/I am getting screwed/or the offers are not email submits as they are told to be..

BS you must run a CPA network that shaves. Don't get me started, I will prove you wrong and I have before with people just like you... CPA networks shave and most of the owners are greedy Ass Clowns.

    False.

If you are sending e-mails, somebody have to open that e-mail, read what you say, and if he is interested he will click. And if you see clicks on the offer, those are 100% targeted people. Otherwise they would not click on the link in the email, if they don't want to "win" free ipad, for example :).
