Why are 4G proxies preferred?

So i currently use cox internet, then attach regular non mobile, proxies for instagram growth. Ive had no issues thus far, but hear a lot of talk about it being almost required to use 4G proxies. I guess im not quite understanding why this is important in the world of IG, FB, YT, etc growth. Is anyone able to explain this to me? Thanks.

Because IP address on 4G changes frequently, But with cable it takes tricks.

and this is preferred to prevent blacklisting on social media? So if i understand this correctly, all i would need is a mobile broadband modem to run my net off of for IG and im good?

There are people using your setup for years for hundreds or thousands of accounts without any issues. And if you manage your accounts well, you can keep using the same (dedicate IP) for years.

This is the general consensus now and many believe that using mobile/4g/residential will fix their issues. However, even using these proxies won't help an account with aggressive settings.

No matter what proxies you use (private, residential, mobile) as long as you manage your accounts well, there shouldn't be any issues.


Bottom line: all proxies will do the same thing (isolate each account from the others). And you can use private dedicated proxies without issues as long as you have decent account settings. On the other hand, if you try to spam and have aggressive account behavior, NOT even the best mobile/4g will keep you safe from bans or restrictions.

It’s not preferred for companies to block 4g addresses as they are in limited amounts and are constantly being reused for many people. Banning that address would cause more problems than solutions and at the end of the day it’s about profit.

Because it makes your IG account looks more human.
So the chance to get banned smaller I think.
