Why Amazon don't ship some items?

Amazon wants to make money, and they only do so if the items are shipped. Therefore, they'll do everything in their power to get as many products shipped as possible. Don't worry!

Sometimes that happens too if you sell products that are yet to be released. I sold a movie 6 month before that is going to be released on BluRay next month I guess, so I had to wait 7 month for the item to be shipped.
