Why am I so unlucky?

ehhh? Luck? Do you think business is like a casino?

Maybe if you stop treating it like a roll of the dice and actually study, test, test, test, study you'll get somewhere.

This post just wreaks of laziness to be honest.

"Uh, I got a few visitors to my site. Why am I not a millionaire?!?! I did a whole half a day's work the other week!! I should be smoking a cigar on my villa by the beach now!! *boohoo I'm so unlucky*"

By "unlucky" I just simply meant that even though some people create a website and manage to get at least one sale with maybe 30 visitors, I am implying even though I got 250, I don't have a single one. I'm not being lazy or anything here, I'm just saying I don't have the same luck as other newbies.

Also, as for the "building a list" comment, are you seriously going to give me so much shit over it just because I choose not to do it? Seriously, anybody can just throw you something that says "do this" but a few more in-depth steps would be more helpful. I am not asking for a spoon-feed method, but at least a start out point would be helpful. This is the equivalent to telling somebody "YouTube can make you money. Do it."

And also, do you REALLY find it necessary to continuously regurgitate information that can easily be found with a search button? If I needed something like that, then I wouldn't have to make this thread now would I?

This is also what I mean by "illiterate". Do you not see all the posts above his that says "build a list"? Does it provide any help in any way by repeating what's been said already on the same thread?

I did not mean to offend anyone, I guess that's just how my post came off as.

If you took offense to this MaxTucker, then I apologize.

Not all niches convert mate that is why test things first and do market research before doing action plan. I say move to new niche and sell the site

I think I'm going to keep it for the time being. I've been told by a few people that it's very good so far so I'm going to keep it.

If you're asking why you are so unlucky, that may be half the problem. It's rarely, if ever, a matter of sheer dumb luck. Converting visitors into sales is a matter of catching people who are likely customers and then giving them a reason to become definite customers. Likely customers come to your site because of the keywords that you use, and they become certain customers because of your content. Where you place your ads, and the ads you choose, will also play a part in conversion.
