Why am I not getting notifications from the threads I follow?

Hey guys,

I've recently followed 4-5 journey threads here on BHW and I pressed the 'Watch thread without receiving email notifications' button to always stay up to date with the newest posts in those threads. However, I don't always get a notification about a new comments in those threads... why is that?

I have faced the same similar issue, seems like if you get a notification and you don't click on the thread; you'll not get notification of any replies unless you view the thread again after the new notification.

I had no notifications from a thread, and then when I viewed it it had tons of updates, and then I got an email update of the next person that posted, but then nothing after that again.
It was working for a while.

Looks like a feature not a bug. I don't want to get notified again and again if I am not clicking on a notification which is exactly how it's working now.

This comes up every now and then.

The forum sends out alerts for threads you're watching. However, if the threads goes on to the next page and you don't check the thread itself, the forum will not send out any future alerts unless you check the thread again (otherwise, I would constantly be receiving thousands of alerts for the marketplace threads I've approved).

Try visiting the last page of the threads you're having this issue with and see if this fixes the problem. If there are any specific, non-multi-page threads you're not receiving alerts for, post the link below and I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.

And i also want to know that the thread i haven't seen or open is showing that i have put it in the watching list. why?

This, i simply check the latest notification of a thread to get always notified
