Why am I getting password reset all the time?

Hi guys.

Recently I have had some problems with instagram saying that they've reset my password to "protect my account" and its "suspicous activity" that has been going on.

I am really worried about this since it has happened on all my three accounts with nearly 50k on each. I've needed to change my password and phone-verify the accounts like 4-5 times (same number) this week because it is resetting all the time.

Why is this happening? I don't have any aggressive settings on FL, (doing 500-600 follows, 600likes, 90 comments a day). Can it be because of any third-party apps that I've been using? I have also heard that some people just want to piss you off by pressing the "forgot your password" button so the password gets resetted automatically..

Anyways, I appreciate any help.

If you are using proxy or your IP keeps changing that can be the issue and stop those third-party apps, running multiple software at the same time is not good.

Hmm.. I am using the IP that my VPS has, maybe my VPS has shared hosting? That might the problem..

You're probably accessing the account from several proxy IP's too quickly, it seems to them like it's been compromised by hackers.

Botting Instagram requires you to start slow, be conservative. Normal users don't follow and unfollow hundreds of people daily, much less use the IG services from more than a handful of IP's in any given period. Make it look natural.

Did this started happening after you use the vps? I suspect since you are now using a proxy ip, but aren't logging in from your phone with the same proxy as your vps, IG is resetting your password.

it's the different ip problem, and ig locks your account for your proection as they think that someone is logging into it. Maybe set the proxy on the phone to match the proxy that you use to bot?

I had this exact problem for like a 2 week span, my 4 accounts, from 30K-105K all kept getting password resets for no reason, no bots, no proxies, all several months (two over a year) old and i think it was because i put the same link in 3 of the bios... i used to always do this, same link in 4 bios, under same IP, and never had a problem but then when i put the link only in my 105K page, the password resets kinda just stopped.. this may be no help to you if you don't have links in your bios but that's how i solved the issue, or again, some guy could just be clicking "forgot password" with your username to annoy you haha, good luck man, keep us updated
