I think it was callibration of account, like a Counter-Strike GO. At start after registration u can take more views, so first video can make more views.
Thank you that explains why i got 14.5k views so far on my first video, and lesser views on others

They will boost your account for the first time, so you feel great. After that, no more free lunch. lol
Ok so i was about to quit Tiktok, but then i thought ok lets make one last video and try to change a few things like add caption and other stuff. after about an hour still 0 views, but then after 2 hours i checked again, and i had 300 views, and so far i got almost 700 views. Thats a lot better than the 4 views on my last video.

As we all know when it comes to social media, it's never a matter of luck. But rather intentionally made algorithms designed to increase user engagement on their platform. There is always a reason behind those reactions you get from the platform. You've just got to keep posting. And recording your observations like a scientist in a lab.

Getting views on TikTok is becoming harder day by day as competition is increasing. TikTok algorithm always favors creative and high-quality content with the best background sounds.optimize your profile. Optimizing profile includes adding the best profile picture and writing the best description that defines yourself and your work on TikTok.Don’t forget to add your Instagram & Youtube link in bio. If you have not started youtube, it's the right time to start now.
I have been using TikTok for 2,5 months now. I have 250k followers that I got by using contents that I did not make myself. I can guaranty you that this platform is going to be the next social media of the time. here is what I learn.
Very important about the algo:
1) TikTok favors watch time and repeat views: this means make sure your content is very short and is the style people would want to watch it over and over. This is the key factor to get your video on the For You Page.
2) Never delete a video that is not performing well. Reupload the same video at different times and make sure to short shorten it down when posting the second time. In fact, you should look at your analytics to see the average watch time. then from there shorten the video according to the analytics. e.g I had a video that hit 2,5M views after I reupload it by doing the above recommendations. The first time I had only 20K views. I recommend uploading a video at least 3 times (different days) if you think it is a great video.
3) Background music is also very important. I usually use the TikTok viral music background.
4) Use the #tags related to your niche in your video. of course use #fyp for all your video. The major mistake many people do is to post all types of videos without having a definite niche.
5) Use your analytics to find the best time to post your video.
6) Consistency (at least a video a day) to train the algo to know more about your account and optimize according to your data.

Was is about a trending topic (COVID or a trending dance)?
Had a similar video gone viral before?
What lead you to think this way?

I reupload video from IG to Tiktok but it is often got 0 view or very low views. I also add #fyp #foryou #foryourpage and use Tiktok music. How you can reupload video in Tiktok without shadowban? Thank you
Since I am doing re-uploading, I always select viral videos or I think could be liked by people. In general, I reupload every single video at least 3X. before giving up! In general, it is a matter of experiencing and try try try . very important I found that when you reduce the video length, it gets more views. 6 to 10 seconds video works best for me.
In general, I don't take my videos from IG because the majority of them repost on their content on their tiktok account. I saw people reuploading IG contents and it works well for them. I do not know why yours is not working well. Consider decreasing the length of the video and not upload the SAME video. Me I take my videos from youtube and facebook. I use adobe premiere pro to edit them on the tiktok format size and cut it down to 6 to 20 seconds video.

If I'm getting you correctly you repost videos that have already been proven to go viral?
Is there a way you could find videos on TikTok that are just on the verge of going viral, and then quickly repost them to?
An example of such a system might be to follow like 20 other viral pages that all post unique content and watch the performance of each video they post after an hour. And if you find out that the post is doing really well within that first hour you'll know that the video is going to go viral, and then quickly repost it to your page.
Just throwing some thoughts around but do you think you'll be able to grow faster this way?
