Why am I getting $1 for 10,000 views?

Barely make any money. Are you serious. Examples:
https://www.patreon.com/SovietWomble
https://www.patreon.com/Kurzgesagt
https://www.patreon.com/Gigguk

If your content is good people will pay for it.

even a dude that posts meme's all day. still gets 300

Ahh I see, but like the other user said, those are some of the top 10% channels making meh to extremely good money per month or per project.

I'd like to talk about this guy: https://www.patreon.com/behindthememe
His YouTube channel stats as of August 5, 2017 are 776,738 subscribers and 87,688,598 views. His channel was created on Aug 12, 2016.
However, the Patreon support from his subscriber base is complete shit. He only has 7 patrons and gets $25 per month in spite of his success and good content.
He is one of the many other YouTube creators not receiving a lot of success from Patreon.

This other guy is doing better on Patreon than the BehindTheMeme dude: https://www.patreon.com/kaptainkristian
This guy's YouTube channel stats as of August 5, 2017 are 404,343 subscribers and 15,097,698 views. His channel was created on Mar 11, 2016.
He gets $2,000+ per month via Patreon.

Most everyday YouTube creators who are not in the Top 10% YouTubers of all time are not banking with Patreon like that, if at all. Even some of the best successful creators don't have a lot of support outside YouTube.

There has been a youtube update. Even my provider is working on fixing his issue

Things change. It's still very possible to make good money with adsense, but you have to find a niche that's profitable and ad friendly. Use websites and tools to check estimated revenue for channels in your niche. Study what they're doing, then find your own lane. Or just copy what they're doing and adjust. If you get big, it's always better to be in an MCN that will offer a higher CPM.
What MCN's are good for Youtube creators?
