Worry, not; I've seen this kind of shit on forums before and it doesn't really mean anything other than that someone is throwing an internet shit fit which will be over with soon enough.

I know how much work setting up and maintaining a forum is so I am certain that the ADMIN will not allow petty bullshit to damage the forum long-term.

Were it my forum I would have tossed off a whiner or two but it ain't mine and I have no say in the matter.

If users say they are leaving, they should, as did Ruck, simply announce it and go or even better for some of them, just STFU and get the fuck out!

It is not necessary to put up 87 sympathy-seeking posts regarding the manner and time of leaving.

Actually, the best thing to do re: such posts, is to ignore them. This tactic drives the offenders crazy and they will leave sooner.

If I had to guess, I'd say it might have something to do with deteriorating level of discourse, for example:
