Whoops - Scrapebox Blast

I have been doing scrapebox commenting blasts for a while now but have never had this response before.

Stupidly I decided to use the commenting feature for one of my clients who has a legitimate business in the UK. I first got all the linkdomain: links from the top 100 searches for my keyword and ended up with about 120,000 BL. After removing duplicates and filtering out the WP blogs I had a bout 9,000 successful comments.

All the comments were positive non spammy looking but where obviously generic. This morning my client has been called twice from competitors here in the UK and received 5 really nasty emails. Needless to say they are totally pissed off with me and have asked me to stop whatever it is I am doing. I just hope that they don't get any more calls or emails!

When I started doing work for this client they were no-where to be found in SERPS - now they are ranking page 1 for 6 of their keywords! and the blast that I did was for a keyword they are currently on page 2. Up til now they thought I was doing a brilliant job.

I know I have been stupid but I hope this sends a bit of a warning out to others who do work on behalf of clients.

So they are on page #1 or 6 keywords and they want you to stop? lol

Why would other websites call them anyways? Because they are getting outranked?

Your method is exactly what I planned on doing
 
You should have notified the client of the methods you were using so they were not blindsided by these emails and phone calls. Some clients are cool with comment spam, others would rather sit at page 50 than be associated with it. Only way to know is to ask.
 
I receive a lot of shitty emails myself. What I do is I scrape all their URLs using sitemap scraper and blast comments on them and then email them back to apologize or get 1000's of comments again :D

What is the worst that can happen???

ya,,and i sent them 6 nasty emails..

well just go n read the matter in those emails,,may be your competitor is pissed because you are ranking easily with spam and he is frustrated..btw you should have done it carefully and in small amount,timely.
 
I had posted on a competitors blog - That is why he called the office this morning!

Not had any more threatening calls or emails today and my client is happy for me to continue as long as I keep it white hat! I don't think the MD appreciated being called a spamming M***** F*****R.

If the blast does boost them from page 2 to page 1 for this keyword then I think they will definitely see an increase in business. At least then the sourness might have worn off.
 
bro continue to do what your doing. Their competitors are probably doing the same thing. and are just angry because they are getting out rank. continue to push bro

I am right know blasting the sh*t out of my competitors so what? it's a nasty world!!

btw, stop spamming on my web design wp robot, im getting pissed!! LOL
 
lol this is a reminder that spamming correctly requires careful planning and consideration.
 
I decided to not use Blog spam to my clients,but if i need a boost i will try ask their permission.
 
I'm sure they will be even more pissed once the spam links end their boost and their rankings drop like a rock

Its finding 20 to 30 links a day which is pretty natural looking. Its a well aged domain with hundreds of links already. I can't see this dropping with one scrapebox blast.
 
Quick question, do you spam links to lower tier websites (wordpress blogs, .info sites, etc) that contain a link to the client's money site?
 
I used a xrumer service, 2 days after i got an email from powersellersunite (dot) com i think. They went to my Danis website, finding my contact form and told me "so you like to spam huh ? You are banned now) Alot of work telling me that i was banned :D

I don't normally spam for clients - this was the first time. Don't know what I was thinking!
 
Update - Yahoo has found 600 new backlinks today. Hope I don't get sandboxed.

Also I am now concerned that since I have tried to improve rankings for this single keyword will the other keywords then have less authority?
 
Here is what I do.

Don't link directly to client's website.

I register two domains with whois privacy.

Use Domain A for the spam and 301 direct to Domain B.

After 20 days I redirect Domain B to the client's website.

In this way all the complains comes to me directly and client get his ranking.

I left out few points in it. But this should give you some idea for future use.
 
The 301 redirect is a good idea for link spam to a clients site!

However you could have smply gone out and loaded up a list of the url's and sites you have backlinks on in SB, then anchor text does not matter and you simply blast all of them with SB!

Thus increasing the link juice of all the backlinks and the spam complaints will go to these 1000's of other sites probably not owned by you which have your link on them as well as other peoples!

Same thing apply's to articles etc that you submit!
