Here is a little tidbit I picked up recently, something that some of you guys with a penchant for local side hustles may appreciate...
Every second Thursday of the month, Ross Stores have a shoe markdown event. Their discounted shoes that have sat on the shelf for 30+ days are discounted to under $5/ea. I'm talking brand new Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc.
To test the theory, I went a few months ago and saw probably 200 pairs of shoes with the pink discount tags, most of which were $2.75/ea. I bought 20 pairs of shoes, all mens sports shoes and gave them to a local teacher I know who has Poshmark and Mercari stores.
She flipped the shoes for nearly $500.
Thought you all would appreciate a little side hustle info!
