Would be better to think about the value creation chain, eg. with fruits & vegetables you can produce liquor, and everybody needs and love it.Sounds healthier/cheaper for the export/transport and at the end the marge should be better.
OK, not the best example as you need to know about laws and around that, but a funny idea.Try it with jam, lemonade, ketchup, healthpills, dryed herbs...

Ok, this it was a bad example. On my country apples are $0.4/kg

No offence buddy, but I don't think you will be able to import and export food to different countries cheaper than the big retailers can. There is way too much competition, unless you're dealing with an extremely 'rare' type of food, or a country with a underdeveloped retailer structure.

if OP from China ...his apples are more attractive than apples Snow White ate ...
