Is it just me, or did something change with the limits of the .COM whois system at whois.verisign-grs.com? All of the sudden I'm getting banned rather quickly with both free and PAID proxies. Today I got a new set of proxies and 1/2 of them were banned within an hour.

I'm allocating 25 to 35 proxies per Scrapebox thread... is that not enough? I used to allocate far less, and took days before I saw ban messages. In addition to ban messages, I also see a lot of "thin" responses (gives me name and registar, but not email, phone, address, exp date, etc.)

Is there a known query limit per IP, or per Class-C that I should be aware of?

OR... is there an alternative to whois.verisign-grs.com that I could use for .COM whois lookups?
