Whois scrapers?

Hi,

I have just started using Scrapebox whois scraper and it's great. However a lot of them fail due to "error blocked?"

It's very hard to find good sock proxies so I am looking for any alternatives with http proxy use?

It needs to scrape their email and name

It seems from the Loopline video on SB whois that you need to use socks NOT http proxy, at least for SB. I have tried several (shared but paid for) socks proxies today and had no success at all even for only a handful of urls- getting error (blocked). I'm guessing this is poor quality socks proxies that are burnt all the time? Can someone more experienced confirm this for me and offer a solution - I don't want to have to purchase more software really - will upgrading to one private/exclusive socks proxy do the trick?
