hi.. still a newbie in SEO. I would like to ask how important whois in a domain and how does it affect if you have several sites? For example, you several sites and each has a unique IP address, does google determine that the registrant of that sites is just one? Thank you and hope somebody can help me figure this out

whois is specially for use of domain checking. How many years old domain? what is your IP address? etc.

Whois is for domain registration information and has no relation with SEO efforts. However, hosting on same server do have a relation with SEO especially if you want to interlink your websites.
