He doesn't grab the mic .. He simply puts his arm out either to touch Paul who he hears run past him, or he hears the thud of his head hitting the mic, so he uses his Stevie Senses and reaches his arm to stop it.

That's what I see anyway .. people will create conspiracies for anything nowadays haha

edit: inb4 that illuminati guy is here telling us he has a third eye

edit number 2: You can clearly see Paul hit Stevie on the way past. Stevie reaches his arm out and you can see him apologise.

Everything is a conspiracy to these people.Drunk men see green men it is called an hallucination.Blind people have a strong sense of touch to compensate for the loss of sight no conspiracy there.
 
When you're blind, your other senses become stronger and I conclude that he heard it when Paul bumped the mic or the mic falling down. Keep in mind that if you're a professional singer especially for someone like Stevie, you have to master your hearing as it has something to do with harmony.
 
OMG - I learned a long time ago not to believe anything they tell you and now CHECK THIS OUT!!!

Stevie is an anagram of "I see TV" - OMFG - this needs to be brought to the attention of the authorities IMMEDIATELY - etc.

I don't know, he never actually tilted his head toward the falling microphone the way that sighted individuals do. It's possible that he was aware that a microphone was in front of him and he could have just heard the guy bump into the microphone, which is why he tried to catch it.
