Would you destroy your competitor if you could or would you leave him be and try to be better? OR switch niche ?

Interested to what people would do as I chose the first one ( it can backfire and destroy my site as well)

Be better. Sociopathic behaviour will burn you in the long run. The key to longterm succes is building relationships and networking.

If you prepared to better one no need to bother about other competitors.

Destroy someone - you will have other competitors behind that.
Switching Niche - there is nothing available without competitors
 
My competitors have horrible site layouts and its annoying to read their content, so I will just write better stuff and optimize better and will pass them soon.
 
it depends on the money if u are new in the niche then just move on
if a specific kw is making you 200$ a day for example and you got outranked by a similarly shit website than yours, then f him, money is money
 
No. I focus on doing better work than my competitors instead of negative shits. this will ruin yourself and your business in the long term
 
Having a competitor can be beneficial for both businesses to move forward. Use them to get inspired and create targets. Destroying him will also affect your business negatively.
 
Well you can't destroy your competitor over and over, there'll be more coming your way as soon as you're finished with the first one.

There is no one behind him.. We are the only 2 that took the ride (but due to him being faster by a few hours, everyone is flocking his site)

Use the energy, time and resources you would use to destroy him and use them to making your site better.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. You’ll learn eventually when you mature.

It did literally cost no time and resources to crumble the castle built. While I have been laying a solid foundation, he was growing exponentially.. Energy was not an issue either as he was not checking his content before publishing it :)
 
Even if you don't believe in Karma or ethics, it makes sense to produce better content.

Because if you do negative seo to your competitors sooner or later another competitor will take that place. Then you have do it all over again..

Instead focus that energy to produce something better.
