Who would have known that Anonymous would actually..

He added that the collective has built tools that "might be better than any world government's tools to combat ISIS online."

So anonymous is better at collecting information than the "Five Eyes" which has a total budget of at least $40,000,000,000 and that is not counting around 9 large agencies that the budget has not been estimated for. Five Eyes also has about 100,000 people involved in it without counting 7 agencies that I couldn't find estimates for.

Anonymous is feeling left out now that ISIS is the center of the world's attention and not them.

Aware that ISIS has its own hackers, Poucher expressed confidence that the militant group "does not have hackers like we have hackers."

Another bullshit statement, not all hackers believe in what anonymous wants. Some are "patriots" and want to serve whatever country they are from, others are criminals and join criminal enterprises. Others have been enticed by terror organisations. Whatever you believe in or whoever you work for has no indication on how well your hacking skills are. Also "scraping" twitter accounts is not hacking at all.

Interesting claim. Just last year they made the same threat.. I do wish this is true! This would somehow slow down ISIS on recruitment process.

RT online is a terrible source for news though.

Not 100% sure about the English version, but RT Germany is the shittiest news site you can find. Full of bullshit, russian propaganda and conspiracy theories.

RT English had some good stuff, but their quality went down hill over the past few years now its basically a Russian version of Fox News. The worst has to be the comment section on RT news articles is freaking insane, with so many racists, conspiracy theorists posting crazy stuff. Its worse than the comment section on yahoo news articles which is notorious for being trash.

That'll stop them from killing people once and for all. Great job anonymous.

It will delay ISIS which does a lot more to protect us then your stupid remark.

I wasn't trying to protect you with that remark. Keep pretending that pointless things matter.

I'm sure ISIS next victims will be glad to know they haven't died in vain though. They'll rest easy in the knowledge that ISIS will never again be able to wreak social media havoc with those particular Twitter accounts. They'll know that the world will be a safer place for their children, thanks to the brave members of anonymous, risking life and limb for a just and noble cause.

In reality no one knows what Anons have done, I highly doubt they have done much.

As if it is hard to buy another 5500 Twitter accounts

AGAIN, it will DELAY them!

They now need to make 5500 twitter accounts and create followings on them, who knows how many followers some of the accounts had, if muhammod had 100,000 followers............

the knowledge that ISIS will never again be able to wreak social media havoc

Isis use's Social Media to recruit and promote terrorism, not to wreak social media havoc.

I totally agree with anonymous, killing accounts and websites is much more effective than any legal action
when these terrorists will be away of internet, many guys will not be informed how to join them, nor looking to join them.

There is malware out there that blocks porn websites for allah ^^

All they did was mass report the Twitter accounts using bots so they were suspended by Twitters automated system. They didnt hack them.

Unless ISIS is censored out of the news people will be looking to join them and unless there is a way to totally block people from traveling to regions where ISIS has a stronghold people will be able to join them.

Not having twitter isn't going to have that launch of an impact on their operations. The thing that will have a big impact on their operations is when they lose hundreds of oil tanker trucks, which will cause massive losses since not only do they lose that shipment of oil but shipments of oil for a long time until they can find replacement tankers and those will not only be harder to get but also would be eventually destroyed. If Anonymous really wants to help they need to volunteer to help search for ways this criminal enterprise is getting donations send to it.
