I know they don't mean anything yet but who knows maybe one day they will.
Anyhow i have 1562 credits for the best suck up job.

I know most of you don't know me or like me or whatever.
But here is your chance to pretend you do.
Anyhow i am going to give them to the biggest suck job in this thread.

Why you might ask am i giving them away?
Well once i get rid of them i am going to stop coming to BHW.

I have enjoyed my stay here but was never really here for making $.
Traffic and traffic tactics were more my motivation.
I actually enjoyed the community spirit that was here.
Members looking after members, but a couple of months ago everything changed.
Now members are fair play seemingly and that just sucks in my opinion.
Members stealing of other members and ripping there software etc.
And now the introduction of jnr VIP area and VIP area and now the pay membership, well there is going to be none of the regulars here.
Well to be honest the regulars had already gone when jnr vip opened.

I didn't start this thread for debate on these issues as some of you will want to.
I simply thought i would offer up my credits and give a brief explanation as to why before i leave.

Anyhow i will check back in a bit and will offer the credits to best post tomorrow some time.

If you're going why not give me it? Bye, give me the credits since nobody wants it. Don't bend your backside on the way out too :p

There is probably a lot of truth there...

    DAMINK,

Sorry to hear your going. I can understand your disposition.

It could be a full time job in and of itself to stay above the ranks here for an opportunity to be among the higher members, the 'good info' or other information.

I see the winds of change are a blowin'

Hope that any of the separatism doesn't lead to more good peeps leaving BHW.

    Peace

How are you to open a thread and discuss all those things and not stir a debate? In any case this place fucking rules, it's only improved since the time I joined. The unique members and overall contribution blows any other forum away.

I agree, however many people have seen noticeable changes and I am sure that will continue. It's almost necessary to have the sections that are off limits to new members and or search engines. But it does create a bit of a divide for members who can't be active on the board enough to participate or be a part of those areas.

It's a bit of a catch 22 - One that I see both sides of.

What eventually does happen ..and has happened it that higher members will stick with their own and stay primarily in those areas of the board. It's simple, it's like society. The rich and the poor. If you belong to Country Club you sure as hell arn't going to the local YMCA.

It's not purposeful it's just the very nature of what you have evolved to. Of, course you might go every once in a while if your local and it happens to be a convenience (or some other reason for you).

These are not just my opinions but realities in life.

When everyone is forced to one consortium there is a greater opportunity for all to commence and benefit from the knowledge that is shared. When separatism's enter you have something that equates to society. Where diversity exists.

I've noticed a change in the last few months as well but things change and this is still one of the best bh forums out there. I haven't been posting much as of late because I'm working on an awesome bh product. However I plan on getting back to regular posting soon and will be joining the paid monthly regardless of the price Hate to see ya go but if you must go good luck and see ya

    Damink,

I'll take your credits. I don't know what the hell value they have, but I'll take them.

You are right. I don't know you. I don't know if I would like you or not and it looks like there will be little chance to find out. I will be upfront, though, and say that I am no fan of the kind of public announcement you just made and the manner in which you made it.

This forum belongs to those who pay for it. I personally have derived great value from it and I have tried to contribute with what little I have, which, as a newbie, ain't much. But I always give it my best shot and I consider that fair compared to what I have received. If someday I ever find that any changes are so great that I get no further value from this forum, I will simply leave and probably send a private note of gratitude and goodbye to the owners and staff. I would only provide them the reasons I am leaving if they asked. Otherwise I would say it is a personal thing.

I would not try to spit in their faces in public by opening a thread like this one and insinuate that anyone who stays on is doing so because he likes to suck up or sell out. If you have derived any value at all out of this forum, I think that is pure lack of gratitude.

You seem to be disappointed that this has not turned into an idealistic Robin Hood kind of thing and the owners are actually interested in gaining something from their investment. Well, what do you think brings everyone here in the first place? They are all interested in gaining something. Otherwise the vast majority of posters and readers (and downloaders) wouldn't come. Why should the owners and those who do the heavy lifting be any different?

Because they pay for it? I'm sorry, but I can't go there. On the contrary, I hope the owners and staff get all they can get. They earned it. They have done a hell of a good job. They deserve praise, not spittle.

If you want a pure Robin Hood public life, open your own forum. Nothing is stopping you. Forums are cheap to put together.

This is the real world, though, not fantasy, and I doubt you will achieve the audience these guys have. I make that statement based on your present attitude. I am no stranger to forums in my other life and whenever I see announcements like yours, spitting in the face of forum owners for policy changes, I always see it's about the audience and maybe a touch of power. These posters always want applause, so here. Take some:

    (applause)

Damink is not a suck up. Damink is a non-suck up.

    (applause again)

That's the best suck up job I'm able to muster right now, but I think it is a pretty good suck up job. I hope I am sucker enough ro have qualified for your credits.

I'll take them—and take them proudly—as a gesture of gratitude to the forum owners for the value I have received here. And if there is any competition, I can suck harder. I can suck real hard.

I'd watch who you give credits to. Scammers can come on here and scam people for services and everyone who sees them thinks they have a rep with all those credits. Just a thought from my criminal mind.

Designer wins. And by a long shot.

Thanks none the less for the comments.

I guess this means the contest has ended.

Although I think a debate was inevitable for a thread like this, I don't believe in the bashing.

If DAMINK wants to go, allow him to voice himself even if he chooses to leave.
I don't believe he has ill intention. I don't know DAMINK at all.

But he is not too of base with his thoughts. Otherwise, they are only his thoughts and this is a public forum.

    Best of luck.

BHW will continue to evolve and adaptation to change can be very cumbersome.

I personally have see some decline in the regular forums from the more know people since joining. But, I am also looking forward to enjoying supporting the forum with monetary compensation and wealthy knowledgeable contributions where applicable. Thus, benefiting from additional access such as JNR VIP.

    designer,

I more or less agree with this. Do you believe in this part of the bashing (my emphasis)?

    I don't. It riled me a bit.

I don't like it when someone bashes and pretends he is not bashing, then tries to get away with it without being called on it by saying he doesn't want to "debate," whatever that means after talking about suck up jobs.

    Touché

Not the most eloquent choice of words. But one's demeanor can easily be misconstrued behind a few keystrokes. Hey for all I know, he was being eccentrically sarcastic. Again... the back and forth is expected. You can't have everyone agree with what you say.

Not that I was entering any kind of contest nor 'sucking up' - he did transfer his credits to me (which by the way - I had no idea was even possible), I would say that whatever it was .... is over and I am sure we will see little if any of DAMNIK around.

    designer,

I agree with everything you said. As to this last, may Damink live a long healthy productive life and find happiness and prosperity. (Not sarcasm. I mean it.)
