Wait, so they charge you $14/job regardless of price? That could turn out to be better if you do high-end jobs. Depending on the work, I charge up to $85/hour and do about 4 hours of work. For $14 for that job (instead of a percentage), it actually adds up to something better for me.

But from most people that have paid the $14.95 for each hourlie for 1 month only they never get any customers, you only need to google it and find many angry members that have done nothing but wasted their money on that site

)I pay $15 to Elance and it's well worth it. I'd have to check out the site, but there are a lot of people who fail at Elance too. It's a tough market to be in because it's not like you just sit down and do jobs. You have to be customer service, sales, finance, and know when to fold. Day jobs are a breeze compared to freelancing but you probably already know that.

I have heard a lot about Elance but have never tried them out. Do the jobs pay pretty well? Do you get many jobs in a week or month?
Elance takes some getting used to. You have to learn how to write a great proposal. Some people are just going for cheap crap, but there are real customers there and part of the game is finding and identifying who the real players are. There are plenty of $1/article jobs but those are just crappy junk jobs that noobs take.
I do pretty well, but I make it a goal to do 3-5 proposals per day and I might get maybe 5-7 jobs a week if I'm lucky. That's a lot of "NO" and losing to other people before I see a job come through and that's also actually doing the work and talking back and forth with people. Some people want to talk to you and have this big back and forth and you have to know when to cut them off or they will eat up your time.
I have often thought of writing a short guide to it because Elance has a huge learning curve. There are farmers there with huge teams, but it's different when you're a solo act.

I signed up recently and endorsements/jobs is hard as projects usually go to the ones who are featured on the front page.

If you want a good lulz, read the marketplace where people promise "high quality" articles with a bunch of grammar and spelling errors in their sales copy. $1/article or less. It's pretty funny. Then, you venture to the blackhat and whitehat forum where people complain about their thin content penalties. It amuses me with coffee.

Peopleperhour is a good website to make money from, if you know what you're doing. They're a lot more strict than Fiverr but that's just because they want only quality sellers that offer quality services. I have made $100 so far and I have 100% positive feedback.
I've noticed that once you make a sale your service will automatically be entered in some Treding Hourlies category I think and for a while you will get more sales for your hourlie

Who me? Nah. I charge $50 min for an article and a lot more for sales copy. I usually stick to software development or security and charge between $100 - $200 for technical content. $1 articles get you fluff junk from some who either has no clue or is outsourcing to India and the content is really bad. I've gotten customers who tried the farmers and realized that you get what you pay for.
is there anyway you can make $100 a day from PeoplePerHour ?

But I search for the job listed in the main page and try to sent them my proposal of work but I did not get any work from my given proposal for the job:-(
