Who uses fiverr for articles?

I am using Fiverr since last year. The writers of Fiverr are well qualified and skilled. Yes, of course they will provide you high quality articles in moderate prices.

I write for fiverr [ 500 words = 5$ ] and I think that I provide good quality. So yeah, there are good articles

you can find great writers on fiverr. I used to freelance on fiverr and everyone loved me.
Problem is, you get drained. Unless you're writing for $5 for 300 words or less, you're going to get drained.
My point is this - there are really good writers on fiverr, but they will likely only sell on fiverr until they get drained.

This. It's very hard to find a decent writer on fiverr now days, still don't understand why people try to find them there when you can just go to iwrtier and pay $5.50 for a 500 words+ article written by a premium user, not happy with the quality of the article? ask for a re-write or just reject it, simple as that.

I think this is so true. Really hard to find a decent one there.
I have used few article writers in Fiverr few months ago. The quality of the articles were so-so. If you are looking articles for T1 or T2 , Fiverr is an option.

I haven't ordered any, but the general consensus seems to be that it's hit and miss. I'm trying to sell articles right now, and so far no hits. It's tough, because I don't know how to distinguish myself from the guys that already have tons of sales. Any tips would be appreciated.

Nothing's wrong with Fiverr. I used to write there a few years ago. As long as you do your homework and try to weed out the good ones from the bad, you'll be fine.
The real loser on Fiverr, imo, is the service provider. I can only get $4 for my work... And that's just not a fair deal at all. Unless I offer 100-150 words per order.
Plus, money sits on my account for 15 days?! Not feeling it anymore. At some point, if there's still a market over there, I might return. But for now, I'm happy doing freelance elsewhere.

Pay peanuts, get monkeys? Rubbish. You can find some good writers on there, it just takes time.
Ratings are useless? Of course ratings aren't bloody useless! They're not everything, but they're certainly not useless!
I have one very good writer who rewrites 750 words for me for $5. It's a quick turn around and I generally use it for Adsense articles. I've another who writes 1000 words for me for $5. From the States and is great at writing. These are both custom orders, as I initially ordered their Gigs and then kept in touch with them and ordered more. I need a lot of writing done, so I spread it out across several writers.
I've recently found 3 more decent writers. I of course proof read them and make the odd tweak, but they're unique and make perfect sense.
Be warned though: I've had 2 recently, who change the Ascii format so that it's unreadable to machines, such as Copyscape and Google - even though it's an exact copy of someone else's work. When someone sends you the finished article, copy and paste it into a new Word document. If they've simply changed the coding, Word will underline loads of words in red, as it doesn't understand what that word is.

Personally, I've run a few websites that have articles as its medium.
I've spent endless hours searching for high quality and affordable authors for articles.
Eventually I ended up trying fiverr.
The affordable ones were horrible. Plain plagiarism with very low quality and eloquent. The terminology for the subject was barely used.
The good ones were super expensive with extra gigs and such.
I suggest you don't use fiverr unless you can afford the more expensive gigs.

If I get 10 articles from a gig then I would surely grab the deal. what wrong to buy from there.

It seems you can find good writers if you are willing make some trial and error.
